Reviews
"Beautiful cinema! Unsure of parking as I was dropped here, but it's on the main street so there is street parking out the front if you're lucky enough. Old-style cinema that's been well looked after and in great condition. Plays all the latest movies and we came her for a young film makers festival which was great to see them supporting the community. Facilities were clean and a good selection of snacks and lunch options on the menu. Would come here again!"
"-It's one of the oldest cinemas in Sydney -It feels old and classy at the same time, making you feel that you're part of the history. -the cinema screen was quite small, considering that the hall is relatively big. It didn't feel like watching the movie in the cinema, more like watching it at home. Overall, it has been a good experience and I suggest, at least once , visit this place"
"As someone who missed the "golden age" of cinemas, the place is an absolute gem. I had the privilege of watching Midnight Cowboy here and the reel they played included old advertisements and even a section on the moon landing. It was an experience I never knew I needed. This place is timeless"
"First time at this venue to watch Oppenheimer. One of the few places in Sydney which still show film in 70mm. I really enjoyed the vibe of this place. Cinema 1 has two tiered seating, chairs don't recline so not as comfortable. Parking can be difficult but the Wilson's does cheaper parking if seeing a film. Couple of restaurants in the area also do film ticket meal deals so look around."
"Beautiful old world theater that looks exactly as it did 50 years ago, except there are now 5 cunemas, whereas then there was only 1. They have kept the original 1920's style while providing modern services. Nice balcony to have a drink while the sun sets and you wait for the movie to start"
