“okay, so yes, the classrooms are somewhat old (but some are blue with fancy white ceilings and are pretty nice) and the bathrooms too. we also do not talk abt the junior uniforms....(stuffy tunics) but, it's a pretty good school, and there are HEAPS of curriculars. rowing, fencing, debating (highly valued here), public speaking, drama, basketball, volleyball, netball- you name it- is here. there are also heaps of clubs! abt debating- we do premier's debating college as well as eastside. in eastside, we go against other prestige sydney schools (such as sydney grammar, sbhs, knox grammar, etc the teachers are pretty good, too the only thing is that the five minute break in between period two and three is literally no help because it's over by the time we get to our next class, so please, on the behalf of everyone else, extend thisss oh, yeah, starting year 7, you have to do two languages. they can a a combination of Latin, French, Chinese and Japanese (you have to put them in order of preference) I'm doing 2 languages atm You can drop these languages (i think in yr 9 though) anyway, pretty good school if you're worrying abt travel, I travel about 1 1/2 hours, and trust me, it gets a bit easier, don't stress would recommend moving before yr 10 tho, so that it doesn't get in the way of HSC stuff would totally recommend this school”

“I moved to Sydney in Aug '15 and decided to try Improv for 3 reasons: 1 - To try something new and out of my comfort zone 2 - Improve my communication skills 3 - Meet new people and have fun LMA was able to help me on all these fronts. The classes are professional and well run and the shows are a lot of fun. There is a wide range of classes available suitable for total novices (like myself) to those with more experience. At the time of writing I've completed level 1 & 2 of Improv and plan on doing level 3.”

“I have on many occasions purchased quality plants from this beautifully appointed shop. What is amazing to me is that so few if any have failed to thrive. The purchase is always accompanied by guidance from staff or wonderful Chris hence my success rate has greatly mproved. In addition I have attended a number of useful related courses on site - creating a terrarium, fundamental weaving being just 2 of an assortment. The creative colourful floral arrangements that have been adapted for the receiver are pretty spectacular. I highly recommend you wander on down the window will draw you and Chris and co will create something devine.”

“Great experience. Love the ability to grab a coffee, a drink, a snack without any pressure. Our dog was welcomed very well (besides one staff member who was over the top and didn't notice our dog was overwhelmed and they weren't helping ((he had long hair, skinny)) hence the 4 star not 5) We had one night that was very disruptive with some extremely noisy guests, reception did her best to calm them down. The rooms aren't very soundproof. Disappointing the door to the courtyard in our room wasn't working. (Again hence the 4 stars) Roof top was lovely. Decor was beautiful. Location great, although access to drop of and pick up cases very difficult. Overall we would come again.”

Booked a Burlesque class for a hens party and 90% of us were hesitant as we aren't dancers but after the class we don't know why.. the teacher just made the whole experience amazing... she really made us all feel at ease and made the class really fun.. definitely recommend to anyone thinking of doing this.. thanks satin spitfire - you were amazing!! “Visited for lunch on Thursday 3rd March. I walked in off the street and was fascinated by this unique pub. The quirky interior decor and friendly happy staff make this an ideal place to have a meal and drink a few beers. I had a chilli sauce squid , which was delightful and my friend ate a brisket meat pie which was perfect. I will return. You must visit this pub !!!”
