“A great parkland for a variety of sporting and hobby pursuits. Has a cricket wicket now!!! There's also a fresh water creek running beside the park where I used to love to adventure and dream as a kid.”

“It is so good having this facility in Mayfield. It is great place to escape the heat, exercise, or have the kids play and build their water confidence. Very laid back, but with all the amenities you need. Bbq areas and playground add to the value. Such an important community asset!”

“The location was good. Staff were great making sure our arrival & room access was smooth. Ours was a quick overnighter but will be back. It's lovely & quiet, no fuss & parking. Loved the water pressure & table & chairs out front to sit at & enjoy the morning.”

“Had a great lunch at Lambton Park Hotel on Sunday. Great weekend menu. The Specials Board was comprehensive. Lovely food, perfectly cooked scotch fillet, yummy chips and salad for me, and my family loved the huge chicken snitzel, fish and chips and kids manu. The salads were fresh and crisp. The food was medium priced, and we were well looked after by such friendly staff. Lovely service, thank you. Will definitely come again.”

“A wonderful campsite with a stunning view. Lots of space to spread out a camp site and not feel to cramped in. Clean toilets close by for campers and fire wood available for a small fee. It was a bit of a wet weekend on the farm but Pam and Lindsay did a fantastic job at maintaining the tracks and helping people out when they got stuck in the mud. The hospitality was spectacular. Pam and Lindsay were quick to respond to any issue that might pop up and are extremely accommodating ( Even if you accidentally get stuck in the river crossing). Worth noting there are showers but they are on camp site 1. Highly recommend Cranky Rock Wollombi. Thank you Pam and Lindsay for sharing your beautiful property!”

“WOW! We loved our time here. The house is spotless, really modern furnishings but with a homely, cosy feel. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen including generous breakfast supplies. The plunge pool was perfect on the hot days, and feeding the pet horses in the field was a highlight. We will definitely come back!”

“Stayed overnight here with hubby and pets as we were passing through. The motel is close to the motorway which was essential for our travel. Although the motel was dated it was absolutely spotless and extremely clean. Owners are slowly renovating and upgrading the motel. The two different pet rooms we had were well appointed, and unless you asked you wouldn’t have known it was one of the designated pet rooms. We used the motel as our stopping point up and on our return trip. The staff were very friendly, respectful white security cameras on the property. Will stay again thank you”

“Fantastic location. ..overlooking Newcastle Town Beach. Excellent inclusions...great for a short or longer stay. Easy walking distance to restaurants and Hunter Street and Wharf Street venues. Air conditioner was a little fickle as only living areas could be warmed on Day Setting and Night Setting only warmed bedroom areas. Comfy beds, plenty of linen. Everything you need to prepare and cook meals. Lovely toiletries in bathrooms. Would definately recommend this accommodation. .”

“Great space, one bedroom apartment with fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer and a very reasonable price for that. Housekeeping need to be more efficient with their cleaning service, the sofa bed is quite filthy but besides that everything is great and much appreciated .”

“July 2019 stayed for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom unit..Impressive unit which was clean, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Security of building, unit and secure undercover parking a bonus. Great to have a carpark that's not like a sardine can. It's a shame it's an extra $20per night. Hope to stay again. Thank you”
