“If you'd like some delicious and cheap takeaway or delivery food in the eastern suburbs, I highly recommend this place. The decor isn't amazing, but we must take into account that it is an extremely aged restaurant. On the upside, with age comes wisdom, these guys definitely know how to make their food! For such a small business, they are successfully managing to thrive with such inexpensive food. I will continue to support this this restaurant, and hope that they'll never have to shut down.”

The food is great and so is the service, BYO and they'll chill your drinks. Can recommend the duck and the sizzling dishes. “I ordered food 10 minutes before closing, and was thoroughly surprised by the quality and quantity. The peking beef had an incredible smell and very balanced taste. The fried pork chop with chilli stayed crispy until the journey home and was quite addictive. Furthermore, the friendly service from the chef was excellent. Would recommend!”

“Enjoyed the Xinjiang/Uyghur food at Turpan! Delicious 凉面 - called "cold noodles" on the menu but it's chewy handmade noodles with tender roasted cumin lamb, onion and capsicum. With fresh cucumber slivers for good measure. Really good - only thing would be: I wish there was a tad more sauce to flavour the noodles (was amazing when I added more black vinegar at home). The lamb ribs had great flavour (almost identical flavour profile to the first dish - stir-fried with cumin, capsicum and onions) but I do prefer larger and chunkier-cut ribs over the small pieces here (which made them slightly dry/chewy). Overall, though, hearty and satisfying food, and friendly service when we went to pick up :)”

“Had a great time here last night. Ordered a grilled chicken mango salad, pad thai and sorbet. Dinner was refined and dessert was nostalgic! Seafood was pleasantly fresh. Service was authentically Thai (full of smiles) and consistent across the team. Price is slightly high but with the big portions, quality of food, comfortable environment and wonderful service, it’s definitely justifiable. Looking forward to try the curries next time!”
