Oceanview Kiama Luxury Coastal Accommodation
● Open“We booked for a full week starting late October well prior to the Sydney lockdown. When we finally were able to go, we had to start on 1 November. Valerie found an extra day to tack onto the days we had left, making 4 in a row, and then found another block for the remaining 3 days 2 weeks later. so although disjointed, we managed to get two holidays. Position is superb - looking down over the surf beach from our balcony. Although on the ground floor, it was several feet above street level, so we could sit in privacy on the balcony to have a meal, looking out, but no one could see in. It was also well protected from the winds. The main room and the bedroom were a fresh, modern design. The main living room was quite spacious. Bedroom and bathroom were more compact but still well decorated. A well supplied set of kitchenware for those who like to cook - we ate out or had takeaway watching the waves roll in. After our first stay, I commented to Valerie that the only thing that didn't work for me were some of the decorations - I carry 2 sets of keys, glasses, wallet and watch, which I want to put on my bedside table but needed to shift so I could fit them. No big thing. But when we came back for our second stay, those minor things had been removed. Perfect customer service - Valerie was terrific for the whole trip(s)”

Kiama Lighthouse
● Open“A beautiful scenic spot with a fabulous lighthouse and the added bonus of a famous blow hole! The views from Kiama lighthouse are truly breathtaking, and they get even better if you're lucky enough to be there for sunset. You'll also see whales depending on the time of year (though you'll need binoculars). There is loads of green space to sit on, as well as countless rock areas to crawl around and explore, and numerous benches to sit. The blowhole is fun, but not that much of an attraction unless you're lucky enough to be there on a day where the sea is rough and active enough to get it off big and often. All of the areas around the blowhole are fenced off for safety reasons. There is loads of parking available for free, which is a huge plus.”

Toyworld Kiama
● Closed“Great little family run shop with an extensive range of toys. On our last visit my kids found it super hard to decide which toys they wanted, so we spent a looong time in the shop, asking a lot of questions, before settling to buy. As usual the owners and staff were very helpful. Even when we came back same day for a second time and asked more questions they were patient and friendly. We'll be back and I can definitely recommend them.”

Nova Kiama
● Open“My mum and I had a wonderful stay at Nova Kiama. I want to thank all the staff especially Elizabeth and Anya. Elizabeth was super helpful when trains were cancelled and I had to ammend the date of our stay. She was so understanding and empathetic. Anya, is lovely and the night that we stayed she dropped our order from the menu app to our room and was accommodating when we requested a later check out 11.30am. The hotel itself was close proximity to the rain station, very handy. We caught the train from Central Stn in Sydney 2.20min train ride. We were able to check in at 1pm which was great. Dropped our stuff and wandered around town. The room itself was a good size, unfortunately we were given a queen's bed rather than twin beds so mum and I shared. I would highly recommend to make sure to ask for twin bed or queen to make sure you get the bed configuration you want. The size of the room is spacious enough for the 2 of us for an overnight stay. I just wished they had a full length mirror in the room. We found the room clean and in great condition. Nice showers and amenities like De'Longhi kettle, iron and hairdryer. We would stay here again if we come back to Kiama as it's in a very handy location, close to everything.”
