Oconee State Park

Pets are allowed in certain cabins and outdoor areas as long as they are kept on a leash. The park manager, Bryn Harmer, has a passion for the outdoors and conservation, making Oconee State Park a special place to visit.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the cottages at this time.
Rainbow Falls
Rainbow Falls is a beautiful park located on Jones Gap Road in South Carolina, United States. Please note that all trails close at 7:00 PM daily, so make sure to plan your visit accordingly. Parking procedures are in place at Jones Gap, especially on weekends and major holidays. Day-use reservations must be made 24 hours in advance, and parking is first come, first serve on weekdays. Hike-in trailside campsites are available by reservation only, and there is no car or RV camping allowed in the park.

Park Manager Tim Ritter recommends visitors relax on bench swings along Lake Craig or explore the peaceful creeks in the park.
Battle of Musgrove Mill State Historic Site

Visitors can experience the history of the Revolutionary War in the South Carolina Backcountry and learn about the brutal ‘partisan’ warfare that divided communities and families during this time.
