"We stopped here for a few days to relax on our way home from TN. The interior road are a bit tight and rough but our site 25 was level and long enough for both our trailer and truck (50'). The fall is so beautiful with all the color. There is a step down to the gravel picnic table, fire pit area. We had plenty of space and didn't feel crowded in but I'm sure during prime time it can feel that way."
"Great campground, nice views. Someone took a dump in the shower though (although I assume that's not a normal occurrence) Overall 8.6/10 (-1 point for shower poo)"
"Gorgeous mountain campground with Lake Jocassee as the main attraction (one of the cleanest lakes around). Nice wooded, shaded lots with firepits (grill rack attached) electric & water hookups & level areas for tents & RVs. Beach is VERY busy on summer weekends, but there's a nice drop-in spot for kayaks and nice boat launches as well. We'll be returning next year!"
"Fantastic location for outdoor exploring. We took our boat and spent the day on Lake Jocassee touring the 8+ waterfalls that are only accessible by the water, brilliant time. Spent the next day hiking various trails, Station Cove Falls amongst them. Would definitely recommend that, nice and short, not strenuous, very pretty. Tons to do within easy distance, hiking, kayaking etc. The campground was fine, not the nicest one I’ve been to but definitely not the worst. The bathhouses weren’t very clean and not in the best shape either. Either than that the campground was good. Pretty tight roads to have a 38’+ rig setup if that’s what your running. Camp sites are fine though, variety of different spots, we only had 30amp, not sure if other larger sites had 50’s."
