Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site
Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site is a must-visit museum, park, and tourist attraction located at 1500 Old Towne Road in Charleston, South Carolina. The Visitor Center/Gift Shop is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., while the Animal Forest and Adventure are open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The park grounds are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission prices are $12 for adults, $7.50 for South Carolina seniors, $7 for youth aged 6-15, and free for children 5 and under. Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas as long as they are kept on a leash and waste is properly disposed of. The park manager, David Baker, has a love for outdoor recreation and invites visitors to explore the gardens and experience the Adventure, a 17th-century replica trading vessel docked in Old Towne Creek.
Battle of Musgrove Mill State Historic Site
Located in Clinton, South Carolina, the Battle of Musgrove Mill State Historic Site is a museum, park, and tourist attraction that preserves and interprets the site of the August 19, 1780 American Revolutionary War battle of Musgrove’s Mill. The park features a Visitor Center with interpretive signage, the 1-mile British Camp Trail, a 1.5-mile Battlefield trail, Horseshoe Falls, a fishing pond, and the Enoree River. Oconee State Park

The park connects to Jones Gap State Park in the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area, offering a variety of hiking trails and camping options.
