“This cafe in amazing. Friendly staff excellent food. Great views. I have been here many times. On my own with friends and family. I really wish there was more seating as over the last couple of visits I have not been able to get a table and gone somewhere else to eat and drink. Which means loss of sales to you. As a small business I wish you all the success ,I hope you remain for many years. Thank you.”

“Fabulous tap room with a great selection of beers. On tap and available from the well stocked fridge. I've visited a few times now. Took my step son down on Sunday evening 21 Aug, when he arrived. He loved it too. We had a selection including the espresso martini and lights out, a dark ipa both lovely. Great to see you can bring your own food in to eat, at any time, whilst enjoying the atmosphere. Nuts and crisps are available from the bar if you need a light snack.”

“Lovely old pub with history relating to WW2 D-day planning. The only pub in the village to serve spirits (as opposed to just beer or cider), so was frequented by officers, Prime Minister and President. Good selection of beers, good food menu and friendly staff (thanks to Greg). Southwick brewery is just out the back!”

“Me and my husband had a date night planned for today Saturday 22nd January 2022, and decided on this place from finding it on google, it wasn't that far away from where we live and we liked their menu. We drove there, it was easy to find on google maps, parking was not an issue, walked straight in to be shown our table, given a menu and a minute to look through, we gave our drink and food order, very cosy, quiet country pub, got our drinks very fast and only waited 30 mins for our food. Well our food looked very nicely presented and looked delicious, we took photos, the staff were very attentive and asked us how our food was we told them the food was scrummy and delicious, we loved every bite full, when we were done we ordered desert and we didn't wait long for that took more photos, they were so nice. Our bill was a reasonable amount, we will be recommending their place to family and friends, we would eat there again”

“We went on a particularly hot day....the river Lavant had run dry....the fields were scorched....but the greenhouse displays were absolutely fantastic....one dedicated to begonias, one to orchids, one to ferns etc....they are all lovingly maintained.....and the fruit trees heavily laden with apples and pears....a short walk around the main house possible too, as well as a longer walk(s?) further afield....but it's the greenhouses and gardens round about them that did it for us as we sadly didn't have time for the other adventures...this is a gem of a place really worth a detour if you like beautifully cared for and beautifully displayed plants.”

“Lovely old building nicely restored in a beautiful road. Very friendly check in process. All access controlled by RFID key. Lobby stairs etc all perfect. Room very comfortable and well equipped with hot plate, fridge, table, sofa and flat screen TV. Good WiFi. Very large and extremely comfortable bed. Modern and spotless bathroom. Great shower.”

“I recently used Woodgate & Co Southsea to carry out the conveyancing on a property i was selling in Somerset. As a resident of Southsea it was handy to have a solicitor i could walk to in 15 minutes, and is well placed on the high-street. The service delivered was everything i could have hoped for, and the only issues arising during the sale were those created on the buyer's end, which Woodgate were quick to contact me and solve when needed. Friendly and professional staff. Would use again and recommend.”

“We bought 2 lattes and a breakfaat bap (sausage, bacon & egg) which was cooked fresh. The owner was polite and friendly and made us aware that we'd have to wait for the food to be cooked. Pleased with everything and it cost less than £9 so very reasonable. Would definitely go here again :-)”

“This is a little gem of a bar and well worth a visit is you like Caribbean cuisine, drink, and music. Our visit was unplanned but we were told that we wouldn't be disappointed. In truth, it exceeded all our expectations and was the high point our weekend. Karen, the owner, and the girls behind the bar and in the kitchen, worked tirelessly all day. There was no waiting at the bar with great cocktails (Not watered down, with top quality ingredients), and the food was of excellent quality. It's also VERY reasonably priced for what you get. The atmosphere was great, very friendly with a fantastic vibe. The DJs were outstanding and played everything from Old Skool Reggae, R&B, Soul and Lovers Rock. I can't speak highly enough of this place. I know its new, but it's hit the ground running. I don't think theres anything like it nearby so don't pass up the chance of a visit.”

“Fantastic tearoom in Shanklin Old Village, near the top of the Chine. Visited twice, once for lunch (great soup, sausage rolls and pizzas) and again for tea and cake. Quirky tea garden, with indoor seating too. Friendly and efficient service, a great find among the (very many) tearooms in the area!”

“We love to visit Bow Wows whenever we go to Port Solent. The range of accessories are the best quality and some are unique to the store. The high point for me is the table service coffee and cake where all pet dogs "must be accompanied by an owner".”

“Really great place that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. I came here on the morning of my wedding to have breakfast and I am really glad that I picked it. We all had smoothie bowls and some of their fresh cakes that they had to offer and they were lovely. The cafe is very unique and well decorated, being made of an old shipping crate, hence the name. The food itself was very tasty, healthy and reasonably priced, despite being close to a main road it was also fairly quiet and scenic with horses out in the field that the cafe overlooks. Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the team at the cafe, they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I thoroughly enjoyed coming here on my wedding day.”

“Very tasty and delicious, what I liked more than the food in this shop is how nice and welcoming the owner was he even gave us some turkish tea and turkish delight for free. I had no issue with anything and the food was so nice, I would recommend to go for the lamb cause believe me that meat is well cooked and tindered, the food was flavourful and really good. “Collected a kebab last night and it was excellent!!!! Most things about this place including the handsome staff and delivery driver (blue van) are top class. One downside was the chap who served me had a massive sized head!!! It did mirror the size or the portions though as they are also massive!!!! Next time i will request a delivery from the blue van man!!!”

“Great cafe, inside and outside dining. Outside has heating and blankets which was perfect after a windy wet walk on the sea front. Food portions are generous and really tasty. We got there just before noon and the breakfast was still available. I had the crispy chicken, bacon & avocado jacket, it was so good! Each element was perfectly cooked and the side salad was dressed and fresh. Prices are pretty standard and for the quality, totally worth it. Give it a go :)”
