Positano
“Authentic Italian food. The pasta isn't overcooked, like it is literally everywhere else. The carbonara is hands down the best I've ever had, plus it's a decent size serving too. Would recommend. 10/10”
Taguchi-Ya
“Delicious and authentic food. Pricey, but it's worth it once in a while, great selection of meat-free options and delicious teas.”
Àclèaf
“Fine dining at Boringdon Hall Michelin restaurant. The meal was exquisite. The experience was phenomenal. The service was impeccable. There were vegan and non alcoholic wine pairing options available for designated driver.”
The Lemon Tree
“Came across this place on the off chance. It's so lovely. We had a couple of sandwiches which were excellent. So fresh and tasty. I had the Biscoff milkshake which was by far the best I've had in a very long time. Place was so clean and staff so lovely, smiley and polite. It was an absolute gem of a place. Prices were good too.”
Foodie
“Was down in Plymouth for a long weekend and happened across Foodie while walking around town. There aren’t many polish places near me so thought I’d give it ago. The food was delicious and filling. Portion sizes were excellent and I ate everything on my plate. Server/owner was super friendly, treating me and my friend like we were guests in his home. Offered us complimentary drinks and wanted to make sure everything was just right. The restaurant itself was impeccably clean. I was actually shocked that the only visible dirt on the black carpet was tiny dots of stuff we had walked in, the rest was spot less. I adored the wall art which was painted by the owner’s daughter and the window display is really pretty. This place is such a gem, I’m so glad we made the effort to walk back round to make sure we ate here. It made me sad that we were the only ones eating there at the time of our visit. This place deserves to have every table filled and a line out the door. Im gutted I don’t have a place like this nearer to home.”
The Catch
“Excellent quality seafood, with interesting dishes. The oysters were amazing and the risotto a must try! The restaurant is small so booking in advance is recommended.”
Everest Kitchen Saltash
“Fantastic food and great service! We went as a group of 6 people just night and I have to say it was one of the best Indian meals I've ever eaten. Top marks for flavour and also for the great friendly service.”
St Jude Grill
“Local and family run business. This take away is the wife and I's treat when we argue who is doing the cooking. Really tasty take away and never disappoint. Very friendly staff and always enjoy chatting to them.”
Finnygook Inn

The Fig Tree @ 36
“A total gem!. This is most definitely a diamond. Warm and welcoming service. Good atmosphere and generous but superb food. Not a single course disappointed, in fact, every moment was sheer joy. We would certainly return.”
African Delight
“The food was delicious! The staff were very friendly! I will 100% eat here again(I had the Goat BBQ, foufou and mikate.)”
Pahuna Indian & Nepalese Cuisine
“Delicious food, had a takeaway and just loved it. Everything was tasty, well spiced and fresh. If I was from Plymouth I would be a regular customer. Update: been few times to dine in - always amazing food and top notch service!”
Torbay Thai Takeaway

iFood Thai Taste
“Amazing Thai food, really friendly table service and fast even though they had a massive takeaway queue! Really big portions and the pad thai tasted really good. Can't wait to return to try more dishes!”
Sunny Spice
“Lovely range of tasty authentic South Indian dishes (as well as the usual Anglo-Indian ones typically served to you by Bangladeshis around the UK) in a small cosy environment. Friendly staff from Kerala. Many thanks, will visit again.”
Cosmic Kitchen
“The food is delicious and 100% vegan to make it even better. The place looks great and the people I was with can't stop raving about their food. The staff was friendly but unfortunately, I couldn't stay so had a takeaway of a wrap and a smoothie but family and I are very impressed. If we didn't live half way across the country, we'd become regulars here.”
Emilia
“A lovely place. Food was excellent, we chose pretty much everything on the menu between 4 of us. Wine list was extensive. Lots of excellent wines by the glass. Service was very good too. Will be back soon.”
Quo Vadis
“Beautiful food, comfortable environment & very friendly staff. Will definitely go again”
Andria
“I don't know if I can put together the right string of words to describe how incredible this place is Food Each sharing platter was always in competition with one another. They were incredibly flavourful and beacuse the portions were small but decently sized, you'd have enough space for another course Atmosphere The servers were friendly and helpful, the decor was minimal and refined making the place feel upscale”
Il Grano
“This is a gem of a restaurant. Been a couple of times and last night I think I had one of the best meals I've ever had! Brilliant service, good children's menu, normal menu and drinks range. Beautiful decor. The seafood is cooked to perfection! Nice to have a few seafood dishes on a menu. Previous visits we had cocktails and they are delicious! It was my daughters birthday (which they didn't know until the desserts) and they came out with a candle in the ice cream and sang Happy Birthday - even the Chef! Please try it, you wont be disappointed!”
The Flat
“Excellent atmosphere and delicious pizzas. Although we are not vegetarian, the pizzas were great. Coupled with a nice cocktail and we had a lovely night out! We will definitely visit again.”
The Hutong Cafe
“I moved away from Plymouth back in 2020 when this little puppy was being refurbished. I was sad I never got to say g'bye having visited many times before its closure, usually hungover or skiving from work. This sadness has been compounded by the fact that since their re-opening, the down-right NSFW bagel spam I see on their Instagram page has been filling me with envy for everyone that has a Plymouth post-code. Nothing in London could fill that void... ... Until this week. I finally was in Plymouth early enough that meant I could get my fill of bagels and OH. MY. DAYS!! I ask of you: if you are a Plymouthian bagel lover and aren't here on the daily, why?! The most legit bagels going: soft, chewy, dense enough to be satisfying, light enough to allow you to walk away from your table, rather than being carried. I had 2: the salt beef (obvs) and the halloumi + pepper jam and holy SMOKES has nothing ever quite tasted exactly how I wanted it to until now. They absolutely BANGED. The loaded hash browns were right up there too. Cheese sauce and spring onions on a hash brown, who knew?! These guys are linchpins of Plymothian indie culture. All top dudes and dudettes, friendly and kind and cool, all having stuck to their guns to created a product in "Hutong Cafe" that is unrivelled in the country, let alone the paucity of decent Brunch options that Plymouth offers It's the hip kinda joint you'd expect to see on the hippie trails in Southern California or Bali and yet here it is, smashing it up in Plymouth. I urge you to support this local stalwart, just as I will be by spending over £25 on bagel breakies every time I visit.”
A Taskinha
“The food is amazing I highly recommend this place definitely Portuguese style. The staff is very friendly”
The Owl and the Pussycat
“The food was lovely, atmosphere was nice and the staff were wonderful. Family run and the owners son was a brilliant waiter. The owner saw our dog the day before when we booked a table - so saved all the meat scraps for her the night we dined which was very unexpected, but greatly appreciated! Wonderful personal touch - thank you!”
Ponte Vecchio
“We visited Ponte Vecchio for a Sunday lunch a few days after opening, it was fantastic. Each meal was beautifully cooked and presented a very good extensive menu choice. Service was very attentive, orders were taken quickly and food was served equally as quick. As a family Italian food is one of our favourite choices for eating out, we are so pleased that Ponte Vecchio has chosen Tiverton to open their restaurant. Highly recommend you visit, you won't be disappointed. We will be returning very soon.”
Brothers
“Had a lovely meal here last night, quality of the food was exceptional. They also went out of their way to provide mocktails for my friend and I which was awesome! So friendly and a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to go again. Would love to see more basics on the menu so I can go with people who are fussier eaters but it was perfect for me!”
Coombeshead Farm
“Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch with two friends. Food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the sourdough and salted butter and the melt in the mouth beef and tomato pie! Lovely staff and a good wine list.”
