"Group party of 8 went for Sunday lunch, booked online which was quick and efficient, with a friendly confirmation returned. Lovely welcome by hosts, all tempted by the roasts which was the correct choice, plenty of food fresh and well cooked and fully satisfied the whole party. Would 100% return if we are ever back down this area."

"On a chilly night, the roaring double sided log burner in the middle of the bar area is delightful. Cosy, comfortable, staff welcoming. Food always delicious. Could be more vegetarian/vegan options (only 2 but not sure if these are vegan). Specials board. Good selection of beers/drinks. Toilets clean. Very dog friendly. Always busy...best to book a table"
