“A wonderful place to visit each Saturday morning with my daughter. My daughter started baby ballet when she was 1.5 years old roughly and hadn’t done anything like it before, she is now 2 and 4months and she has come on leaps and bounds. She has learnt to listen more, copy the teachers and really has a great time with her little friends. Miss Amy is our teacher and she Is brilliant with my daughter. The other ladies are also super lovely. It’s a wonderful place. We love it.”

“We visited TR2 for a tour today which was Lottery funded.We were the only 2 for the visit but this did not alter the wonderful tour with our guide Danny.She was so friendly and informative and showed us everywhere with such enthusiasm and interesting stories and facts. We left with a far greater knowledge of the work involved in your productions and look forward to a visit to the theatre as we will have a different view of the costumes and scenery knowing how they are all made.A great tour thank you Danny who is a great asset to TR2”

“Favourite beach in Devon. Convenient expansive parking with a lovely cafe/restaurant overlooking the beach. Beach itself is expansive and beautiful with a soft fine pebble which is comfortable to lie on without the mess associated with sand. Water is perfectly clear and plenty of places to explore nearby on kayak/paddle board (which you can hire out on the beach itself).”

“Lovely views from Bolberry down. The walls are wonderful in either direction. The Bolberry Down Park Run is one of the most beautiful runs and has friendly and enthusiastic volunteers.”

“Outstanding views across to Plymouth and the RN dockyards. Wonderful woodland walks with both natural and exotic plants. We were impressed with the many activities organised, the Frisbee course is a must for families and groups but beware it is a real challenge! The Orangery is a delightful area and cakes supplied in the Stable cafe are a must. The park was preparing for the 'Green Man' event hence the photos I have attached. All in all a wonderful excursion, easily accessible from the Stonehouse ferry which runs regularly at very affordable prices.”

“Visited St Elizabeth's House for Sunday Lunch today, 4 adults and an 18 month old, the staff were so attentive and could not do enough for us, we were sat in the library which was perfect for us with our son! The food was exceptional, so much better than I could ever expected, clear plates all around and incredible value for money, we will definitely be revisiting for another Sunday lunch, and Al a carte. We booked 8 weeks in advance as it's always so booked up and it was so so so worth it.”

“Fantastic place to visit. History at your fingertips. Played on piano in the one of the rooms with ppl in it. It was magic. I was transported in time just for a few seconds. “We used to be members of another nearby club and decided to give China Fleet a go. Way better than anything else you find in this area. Their facilities are state of the art and the place is family friendly which is an important factor for us. I would think we will stay members here whilst we live in this area. Great team, great facilities, great food also.”

“I was looking for a good coffee, walk in the countryside and a delicious lunch and found everything at Buckland! It was a much more extensive and varied place than I expected. I was pleased to find a good sized cafe in a building with character and started my visit with coffee. I went on to do the longer "blue" estate walk - it was only 3 miles on paths across fields and through woodland - but the quietness and solitude, the lush greenness, and sound of the river below, really gave me the sense that I'd found a piece of heaven. A delicious veggie chilli and cheese scone restored my energy levels, before a quick look around the house. I was surprised to discover that Sir Francis Drake had lived there and the house was more engaging than I'd expected. The gift shop was quite large and also sold plants. There was also a separate second hand bookshop and an art and craft workshop. I could easily have spent the whole day there, finding places to sit, relax and read. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!”

“Great track, plenty of time per session. Well organised and not too expensive. Especially impressed with the food offer. Unlike many places with a captive clientelle prices are reasonable. In this weather you could go for a free swim in the quarry or pay for the aquapark”

“Spent a night at this lovely site before catching the ferry to Spain.The Wardens we’re extra helpful when I encountered a problem with the electrics on my van.As we prepared to leave the site this friendly couple were there to bid us Bon voyage and wave us off. We will definitely be returning to this site.”

“So much to see, loved the house especially the arms and armour in great hall. Gardens and woods great. Easy walk to Quay and Mill loved both especially workshops at both. Would definitely visit again.”
