"2 young men where working when I went in. After looking around for them items I went for, I went up and asked if they had needed items, they weren't sure and ended the conversation. I walked out. I won't go back. Its Unfortunate. I try to buy local but I will go to the big box store as they are much more willing to help and find out if they carry an item. I also witnessed a gentleman man who asked for help loading bags of mulch. When the cashier asked the other employee to help he was irritated at the request. Not very good to see. I hope I just hit a bad day and this is not the norm"
"This True Value is not handicapped accessible. They have a lot of stuff laying on the floor blocking access to some of the aisles. It's a messy store and understaffed for a hardware store. However, the employees were friendly and helpful."
"This store is awful rarely has in stock what I need. Was told by a clerk that she could not find a SKU number for landscape materials I needed. Told me to lug in a 40 pound bag of sand to scan it. I told her NO you'll send someone out to get it. Was told there's no one available for that. Then I was told I was being rude! This will be taken up with True Value management! Screw it after that I cancelled my purchase of everything that she was able to ring up! Not shopping there again!"
"This is my second review of this store... I hate to say it, but if you really NEED a part DO NOT go here. They are constantly either out of stock or don't have the most basic items. I needed a new valve for my icemaker. Very simple item which is usually about $5 at big box stores. They have none. They have 20 other strange valves that no one really ever uses. And 4 ice maker kits starting at $20 but not the simple item... I'm writing this in hopes the management see this. This is a ongoing problem at this location, even before the pandemic. Empty shelves everywhere"
