"The experience that led to this review and me closing my account would require more space than you give. The purchase was for an entry & screen door. I paid $40 for the in-home consult in Dec 2023. After that it was downhill. It ended in me spending 4.5 hrs in this store, cancelling my $3,240 order & closing my account. The experience was brutal!! I do know this store has a new GM who I worked with at another company for 16 yrs because I talked to him during the 4.5 hour nightmare and if anyone can change things it's him, just not in time for me."
"I had a great time getting checked out by Tom (D-94) in the pick up section. I was trying to give a review to the corporate website, but couldn’t find the link. He was quick, efficient, and friendly!"
"Bought a 36in Moore side vanity and the top was cracked. Which is understandable, as these things happen, 2nd one I received had a chipped counter top. Their website stated they had 2 more in stock and getting someone to help find one was very difficult. I asked someone for assistance, they said they would look for it and then they disappeared and didn’t come back. They paged someone to the aisle and no one came. Very poor customer service"
"Should be zero stars. Customer service doesn’t exist. After being paged twice, nobody ever came to help cut some chain for me. So, after 20 minutes I measured and cut it myself. Then after waiting in an extra long checkout line I was informed that they can’t check me out because they need something hand written from the person in hardware… the nonexistent person that never came to help me. So I wasted a half hour of my time and walked out empty handed. Don’t waste your time here."
"I would give them -100 stars if I could. DO NOT ever, ever use Home Depot for a home project. We bought two new front doors and paid for installation. 18 months later, we still do not have the outside door on our house and the main door needs to be re-hung. The original installation was so bad, that they also f-ed up our door frame, etc. They've installers here 7 or 8 times, and they always think they're here for measurements, etc., instead of a re-install. The lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable. I'm getting documents together for small claims court."
