"2 stars because most cashiers are nice and polite. Prices are extremely high compared to other supermarkets in the area. Meat is kept at unsafe temperatures. Twice I have bough meat on my way home (I live less than 5 minutes away walking) and when I get home that open the package it smells rotten. Issue happened in two separate occasions. Went the other day and decided to touch a pack of chicken to check the temperature and it was warmer than the room temperature in the supermarket. It is always a mess to try to get stuff at the deli because the counter is super high and some of them don't pay attention. On top of that the gentleman with the grayish/white hair at the deli does not care and keeps his back to the customers, if people grab his attention he helps them with an attitude and is rude with no manners toward the customers. He mumbles thru his mask and gets annoyed if you ask him to repeat if you don't understand what he says. Will avoid the supermarket even if I have to walk longer to get to other places to get groceries even if it's last minute."

"This Key Food supermarket on Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens, is a most convenient location for both locals and commuters. It's just a block away from the major transit hub of Kew Gardens, at Queens Boulevard and 78th Avenue. This store, despite its rather compact size, only about a half dozen aisles, has a wide variety of products and offerings. My favorites are the hot plates and cold ready made salads, great for a quick pickup. Prices are comparable to other stores around the area, and I found the staff to be a most agreeable lot."

"Avoid it if you can is the best description. It’s good for a quick item if there are no lines, and also if you don’t mind potentially overpaying or buying something near expiration. Cereal double the price of Walmart? Milk being sold past expiration. Had to put those back. No shopping carts. Only 3 or 4 hand baskets. Stressing to avoid if possible"
