"Lived here for 1 year. Good location. Mostly college students or small families, no safety issues. I took one star off because the layout is a little frustrating (kitchen and living room on opposite ends of the apartment) as well as a lack of counter space in the kitchen. There is also a lack of lighting, but you can plug lights into outlets and then use the switches to turn them on/off. Overall I had a good time living here, and I never had any big/notable problems, just the little things that I listed. If you have any problems, the managers are quick to resolve it. A good price point for the area, a lot better than both Coronado Apartments and City Lofts!"

"We rented the apartment with only a virtual viewing. Much to our dismay, when we finally viewed the apartment, it was not in the condition that was described virtually and with the leasing agent! The floors had cracks and and covered with white marks, the apartment was filthy! However, we were assured that the apartment would be professionally sanitized before the next day, the official move in date. The apartment lobby was dirty and littered! We were told that the floor cracks would be repaired, as there was a previous mouse problem! Despite leasing and paying for a 3 bedroom apartment, we were told we would get only 1 set of keys. It took 2 hours of additional work to finally get approval to get 3 sets of keys! We do finally got the keys but the apartment had not been cleaned. We were not given the parking passes, despite the fact that cars are routinely towed from the parking lot. Danielle, our leasing agent unapologetically told us that Monday was the earliest we could get it cleaned! They said they did not have my daughter’s mailbox keys, and could not immediately put her name on the directory by the security gate."

"Vandy House has terrible terrible management. Packages never get delivered, and on the off chance they are delivered, they are stolen. If you call management about the theft - they are no help whatsoever. The cameras installed around the property are just for show. Management says they’re broken and that “they’re working on it” but they never do. This place doesn’t care about your safety or your belongings. They only care about making money. Whatever you do don’t live here. There are at least 5 other apartment complexes within .5 miles of Vandy House all within the same price range, with better units/amenities/parking and most importantly management."

"Where do I begin? The parking lot is oversold and it’s hard to find a parking spot - not to mention the wrongful towings. There was a huge mouse problem that we had to solve ourselves. Do you want a package delivered? Good luck. Delivery services cannot gain access most of the days. If your package does get delivered it is left out for anyone to steal as half of my packages have been. Good thing they have security cameras, right? The cameras don’t work. The AC and heat rarely works right. I’ve lived here for 2 years and have had countless bad experiences."

"I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I have had here. My car was wrongfully towed from the parking lot, and not only did nobody tell me that my car was towed, but to get it out of the lot it cost me $410 cash straight out of my pocket. I had been in contact with one of the property managers about this issue and asked for a reimbursement, but since then I have been utterly ignored and even taken off the email list! How rude! will say - generally, the maintenance is pretty good, but the management is NOT."
