"This review is of the restaurant as we did not stay in a room for the night. We have been here before a few years back so we already knew we were in for an excellent dinner. We came for the Sunday family style dinner. Everything served was top quality and delicious! Their fried chicken was honestly the best I have ever eaten! The service was just as amazing! The staff was super friendly and on top of everything. The entire experience is fun and interesting. There is a lot of history here, so make sure to check out the small museum and gift shop before you leave. They even let us take a peek upstairs. Although the guest rooms are locked is it still fascinating to walk through the halls of this 1800’s mansion. I highly recommend everyone come and enjoy a great meal at the Lemp Mansion!!!"

"We did a murder mystery party here tonight. It was entertaining but very packed. The food was good. It was $85.00 per person. The house salad was okay. The entree was a fried chicken breast in a cream sauce with mashed potatoes and green beans. The dessert was a red velvet cheesecake. It also comes with a glass of wine but I missed that part."

"I visit here each Thanksgiving. My family and I look forward to it due not only to the great food but also to warm and welcoming staff. You will not leave hungry or ever have an empty glass. You are treated very well by the staff who works as a great team to make sure you enjoy your dining experience. The rooms are spacious, there is a nice upstairs, and the seating is not cramped and is very comfortable."

"This review is for the restaurant only, as I didn't stay in a room. If the location and atmosphere aren't cool enough for you to want to visit, let the food be the main reason. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious lunch was and amazed at the giant portions. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and enough to take leftovers home. The staff were relaxed, and let us roam around the house while attentive to our needs. We are excited to be going back soon and it was family friendly!"
