"This is what my front door looks like. I have put in 4 work orders since I moved in in October and 1 person has been here to look at it and didn’t do anything but tell me it looked broken. It has been letting in cold air and racking up my gas bill for the past 2 months. Nobody here seems to care about the place except for me and it’s crazy and frustrating. Can’t wait for 8 more months of having a broken door:) Do better “luxury apartments” owners. What a joke."
"DO NOT MOVE HERE. ZEROOOO Customer Service or Tenant Empathy… Apartment sink overflowed 12 times in 6 days. Maintenance came 6 times to repair. Had to purchase own supplies to fix. Carpet wet smells like a sewer. Met with Manager had an excuse for every issue. Building built in 1969, not my issue. U cash the rent check every month. In Maryland Heights might as well be in Section 8. Ownership non responsive… Worst experience ever… I would not stay there for free… I wish I could give apartment complex/ownership a -10 star rating… U have been warned.. Looks nothing like online pictures.. Smoke and Mirrors…"
"DO NOT RENT HERE.. RUN AWAY. THE MANAGEMENT TEAM IS SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. THE MANAGERS SUPPORT THE RUDE BEHAVIOR. IT HAS BEEN 3 WEEKS I RAISED MULTIPLE REQUESTS THEY DIDNT EVEN LOOK AND CLOSED THEM. Everything falls apart in the apartment. Even after reading negative reviews I was so dumb to rent an apartment here as it was close to my work place. Our first day experience was horrible and sharing our experience here. We were told our apartment inspection is done and ready to move in but after moving in basic cleaning also not properly done. To start with we can’t even move our things during night before there were no lights in the hallway and stairs. It’s completely dark and people may get physical injury’s if they fall down from stairs. And dish washer is not working Dryer is not connected. Toilet keeps moving if we sit on it. Water is not draining in the bath tub Ceiling fans are not even clean and has piles of dust on it. Kitchen cabinets are completely filled with grease and sticky. The towel holders in restroom were just placed as show case. They fall apart when you place a towel The wents were dirty and doesn’t feel like breathing proper air. The floor vibrates when the AC is turned on When I went to the manager to complain about things she said I need to talk the front desk people and when I went there they told me to raise tons of maintenance requests which doesn’t make any sense. I asked how this apartment is rented in first place without doing proper inspection. I was told inspection is passed and everything looks good but that’s not the case. And most importantly the answers you get from the staff is too bad and I regretted why I rented here. Update: Manager (Courtney) is rude and when I was telling that my maintenance requests were closed without being fixed. She said “ leave out of my room and shut the door on my face”. I never had this kind of experience before. It’s getting worse day by day. Update week 3: It’s getting worst day by day. It’s already week 3 and we were not give keys for our mail box. Our maintenance requests were closed without notifying us again and again. There were no lights in stairs and out side while entering to our apartment. They just keep telling its already fixed. It’s not safe to live here during night time."
"To whoever is about to read this: As you read the responses by the Fieldpointe staff, please notice how they are ignoring key complaints that are a common theme amongst the recent reviews.. such as the unprofessionalism of the property manager and how she quite literally ignores residents. The delayed or sometimes non existent response to emergency requests for maintenance. In addition to the lack of responses when submitting requests through the portal. Moving on, DO NOT RENT HERE. The positive reviews you see are the few residents that caught the staff on the right day. That treatment is not common amongst the rest of the residents. As a resident for the last three years, I can attest to that. The maintenance supervisor puts unrealistic expectations on his subordinates which is the main reason for the delays. Much Iike the supervisor before him, his staff is a revolving door mainly due to his laziness. The prices to rent here are astronomical considering the what you get for your money. The architecture of the buildings is the worse I’ve ever seen. I know several people who’ve had to return pieces of furniture simply because of how tight the corners are to get into the building. The list of issues myself and my neighbors have encountered is too long to list here. One of those issues is the picture I have attached. It speaks for itself. The company has had to clean house before with their staff and I suspect they will be doing it again soon. I implore whoever is reading this, to compare other complexes in the area (especially in Creve Coeur) More than a few of them are barely more expensive than Fieldpointe with friendly and easily accessible property managers, prompt maintenance response and amenities that are worth the extra money. As a person who bases most of their decisions on reviews - please believe this post. And good luck to you."
"DO NOT RENT HERE! I can't even begin to explain how unprofessional this place is. They call themselves luxury apartments and have poured so much money into the pool, clubhouse, signs, etc. but the apartments themselves and the people who live there are treated so poorly. So many issues came up, but I will just touch on the two most baffling instances. We had a live and then, eventually, dead bat in our vents for two months, even after submitting multiple maintenance requests and talking to the manager and office staff directly. It was still there the day we moved out. We are lucky ourselves and our dogs didn't contract any sicknesses. The plumbing is so old that flooding was a constant issue. A pipe eventually burst in our ceiling around the time we were in the process of moving to another facility. We submitted a maintenance request while we still had our lease but weren't actively living in the space which was marked as complete a few days later. Come to find out all they seemed to do was cut a hole in the ceiling leaving an exposed pipe with water dripping everywhere causing VISIBLE MOLD all throughout the downstairs walls, floors, and trim. At this point we had come back to perform a final clean down of the unit because our lease was ending, but we didn't feel safe staying inside that apartment any longer than we had to because of the results of this neglect. Throughout all of our issues while staying here, big and small, communication from the office, maintenance staff, and even the manager was unprofessional and slim to none. It was impossible to get anyone to answer our dozens of voicemails, emails, or even to get anyone to open the doors to the office half the time. Even when the voicemails and emails were about BATS AND MOLD in our unit. Flash forward two and a half months and we are still waiting to receive our security deposit back because it was never processed in the first place. It is never ending. My roommates and I are so relieved to be living elsewhere."
