China Buffet

"It's an ok Chinese buffet. It's nothing special, but I'm also not saying to skip it. Not a big selection, and some things aren't your standard Chinese buffet fare. Quiet a few labels were missing, so I couldn't be sure what something were, but the things I haven't seen before, like Honey chicken, Coconut Chicken, and peanut chicken were pretty good, and I went back for more. But some staples like egg rolls and General Tso missed the mark. It's not bad food, but I don't think I'll seek it out anytime soon. I prefer Chin Yuen down the road."

"People have raved about how good China buffet is. I was personally not impressed. Nothing was fresh or really hot. My fiance loves sushi, which he said was really good! Staff were very friendly and sat us quickly. I gave the atmosphere an ok as it's pretty dated."

"Love this place, the lady that works the checkout is always so kind. Food is good, lots of different options, and a good deal. One of my favorite restaurants in monticello. If you’re an owner and reading this though, y’all should look into the app too good to go. It helps business owners recuperate money from leftover food and prevents food waste by selling it for a discounted rate. I imagine a buffet has a lot of leftover food."

"Overall disappointed. I usually love Chinese buffets. I came here on a Sunday night around six. Freshness of food seemed mixed. A shrimp dish was cold and they never restocked it the entire time I was there eating presumably since there was still a little left in the pan. Many other items items were not restocked while I was there and looked old. The beef chicken broccoli was fresh and tasted terrific as well as the chicken on a stick. And other items as well. I didn't try the Sushi nor the mongolian grill. While the restaurant was generally clean many plates out for use still had leftover rice stuck on them and I had to pick around the plate stacks to find a clean plate to use. The wait staff was friendly and readily picked up used plates and refilled my drink. I love Chinese food and would probably return and can update review. This time was just a miss."

"Delicious Buffet, large variety of choices with great quality! All my favorite dishes at a reasonable price. Sushi on the buffet, and a hibachi style grill included with a large classic buffet! Desserts bar and salad bar are much larger than any other place I’ve seen! I was amazed!!! 100% worth the 30 miles I drove! Must try!! They also had egg foo young with savory gravy which I don’t find on buffets often!! ❤️ magnificent!"
