Clarion Inn I-94 near Expo Center

"When I booked my reservation on February 1, 2024, the website clearly had a picture of the pool and hot tub. Arrived on February 23, 2024 to find the pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance. Now I find out it's been closed for maintenance for months! Terribly misleading. Wanted to cancel my reservation and was told I could not. I contacted the manager asking for a partial refund and was told nothing would be given. Moral of the story, always call to verify if you're looking for a specific ammenity. In regards to the room, the heat was hard to control. It was either extremely hot or extremely cold. I could not get a happy medium."

"Withholding my $100 deposit for no reason. They won't take the time to settle the transaction. I have begged and pleaded. They are callous and cold. This could've been handled easily. They wouldn't take the time for a gold status member which they have lost forever"

"Waited at front desk for 20 min while the lady was behind the wall talking to her mom about her sister. Came back in 20 min later and said something to her and she started yelling at me saying she's a manager. Didn't think be being manger you can talk to your mom for 20 min on phone at work and not help anyone standing at the front desk at a hotel. Told her I'll talk to manger later and then she got even more mad. Trying to tell me I can leave the hotel. Nows she out back smoking a cigarette. Funny I've been in this hotel for over 25 weeks this year and she's asking me to leave. Told her I'll talk to the real manager later. If people like me leave who is going to pay for your employees. Everyone in the hotel talks to me except her and the other mangers would never have yelled at a customer like she did"

"Rooms seem fine when you first walk in, but we woke up to bed bugs, and spots of blood on the sheets from the bedbug bites. We found 6 or so large and small bedbugs when we pulled out the edges of the sheets. Packed up and canceled the rest of our reservation. Staff was unhelpful and would not refund, neither would their phone support. Spent the afternoon cleaning our clothes at the laundromat. The wasted time and cash canceled out any money we saved by choosing the cheaper hotel option. Not worth."

"The entrance of the hotel was clean and smelled nice, we we're greeted by a friendly front counter and checked into our room promptly. Our king size room with pull out sofa was also clean and well equipped with fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable with good linens. The pull out sofa however needs to be replaced immediately. Thank goodness we had no need to use it, it was stained and looked to be from 70's. Breakfast was the standard hot breakfast. I would use this hotel again for the price, location and overall pleasant stay."
