“Absolutely love coming to wing yip, growing up i didnt really go to asian supermarkets and as i've got older i have come to love the trip to our local supermarket. The range and variety are absolutely stunning, there are brilliant little finds here, it sells dishes, pans and crockery that help transform your dining from casual kitchen to oriental fusion. On today's visit i bought some lovely chinese snacks, which i dont believe i could find anywhere other than here at Wing Yip, i got some vermicelli noodles, some fresh vegetables and fish, i also got some fermented black beans which are absolutely stunning, i also when visiting here always grab something random and try it and today was a bottle of Heinz Ox Sauce which i think i'll coat some deep fried chicken wings in. They also have a brilliant and extensive selection of frozen food from sui mai to frozen crabs. I'd say this place would be amazing for all your chinese cuisine needs. Highly recommend to anyone looking to shop and cook this amazing food.”

The owner has a vast range of knowledge about the reptiles that he breeds and was happy to answer the questions that I had. He's a really friendly and approchable guy, who even let me hold one of his other snakes that I'd never come across before. “Absolutely incredible! Visited with a friend and her 2 year old daughter on a Saturday for brunch. The owners were both super hands on and really friendly - all the colleagues were fantastic and really great with my friends daughter. It's great to see an eatery where the service is still personal and you get a real sense of family and pride from everybody. The food was outstanding - really good selection and lovely nod to NZ food. We had two brunch dishes and desserts. The bakery selection also looked fabulous. And of course they sell L&P! “Took my elderly Lakeland in for a nail clip and she was handled wonderfully. She has slipped disks in her back, doesn't like having them done and has a tendancy to jump off tables. She was handled so well as I was very concerned about her back, the ladies knew exactly what to do with her to keep her safe and get the job done. They were highly professional and so good with her, explaining to me what they were doing as they were doing it and let me watch which all helped me feel more comfortable with letting someone else handle her. Was so happy even booked her in for a groom as my groomers haven't opened. Even gave her a complimentary spritz so she smells wonderful until she gets groomed.”

“This is a lovely park, not massive but very well kept with a couple of car park options if driving to it. The park has a lake which can be walked round, and grassland which when we went had sheep and lambs wandering around. Its a nice area, if you are expecting a long walk however, you'll probably need somewhere much bigger - but great if you have small people or just need to take dog out for a stretch of the legs!”

“My partner and I went for our anniversary, the staff were really pleasant and attentive. Our food arrived really quickly and it tasted absolutely delicious. I had the rigatoni and my partner had the calzone, the beef in the rigatoni absolutely melted in your mouth it was beautiful, the dough on the calzone was so soft and perfectly cooked. My partner drank the house red which he said was the nicest house red he'd had in a long time and I had a Bellini (finally a place that actually knows how to make one!). THANKFULLY a Halfords member of staff came out and helped push the car into the Halfords car park. He tightened the battery within minutes and sent me on my way. An absolute LIFE SAVER”
