"Stayed here twice now a few years apart and have to say enjoyed it even more this time. Food is generous and tasted amazing. The rooms are well decorated and really comfortable with a lovely selection of bits for breakfast Then finally there are the staff who are so welcoming and friendly."

"Stayed one night just before Christmas but a very comfortable sleep. Clean and tidy. Spacious room with tea and coffee facilities in the room. Bathroom of a good size and modern. Breakfast is European style (with fridge) located in the corridor outside the room but available at all times. Good selection which seems to get topped up regularly. Plenty of parking behind the pub/hotel but whilst it says “hotel guests”, think was used by pub patrons, so got busy. Only down side is access. Metal stairs outside back of pub. Second flight up only handrails at one side. Was wet and care has to be taken both ways. Access could be a problem for the infirm. Staff helpful when checking in at the bar. Even with the pub busy, the second floor rooms quiet."

"This place is a hidden gem, we had a funeral wake here today and had the cold buffet, The service was 5 star, nothing too much trouble for anyone. The whole experience was uplifting after what was a day of sadness, but the whole team here was so helpful and accommodating that you just felt as though they were already friends with you. The outside of this place is so inviting and beautiful, clean and tidy all the way through the pub, and the food was exceptional, providing for all needs. I am so impressed with this place that now this has become my local and I will be going back regular. If you are looking for a place for an event then I would highly recommend this venue."

"Stayed here in a lovely double room. Very comfortable lovely continental breakfast. Great shower, well equipped with small fridge & TV. Great surroundings within easy walking distance of old trafford. Loads of pubs nearby. Great pub in a great area. Staff were brilliant."
