“I personally have only been to Sam. Ive been booking in with her every 2 weeks for the past 4 months. Her cuts get better and better every time i go. Shes brilliant. The place looks great and is always busy. Although the cuts are a little more expensive (£15) than your average barber. It's definitely worth the extra. Please be aware that you have to book in for an appointment. Which i think is a great idea. Sat waiting in my previous barber for 2 hours at a time is the reason why i changed the 1st place.”

She definitely goes out of her way to make sure her clients are comfortable. “Overnight stay required, searched for hotels in oldham area, this was found to be in perfect location just off M62 Room was exceptionally clean with tea and coffee making facilities in room and ensuite, adjoining the hotel is a restaurant which caters for your evening and breakfast meals, has a pool room, kids play area and Bar. Reasonable check in and out times.”

“After moving away from the area some years ago, I still travel to Swithins in Shaw to have my haircut and styled because I know I’m going to leave the shop feeling a million dollars. And today was no different! :) Ellie has done an amazing job, I’m so happy with the cut...and as always I really enjoyed my visit. All Covid guidelines were followed, everyone was as welcoming and friendly as always, and I can’t praise Ellie enough!!! Highly recommended, and the coffee was lovely too :)”

“Hosts very welcoming as I arrived late and they organised a taxi for me . Bed was very comfortable clean and tidy room and bathroom. I was in awe at the view from the breakfast room / lounge - amazing views of the Diglea valley - sheep and lambs in fields - hens clucking around the car park . I chose my breakfast which was freshly cooked whilst I admired the views and peace . The hosts were kind and gave lots of information about the history of the area . A definite recommended from me .”

“This Cattery comes with the highest recommendation. They are brilliant. My cat has just come back from a 2 week stay and he’s so happy and contented. So contented, he didn’t want to come home! I’ve used this Cattery for a number of years and the quality of care is of the highest standard. “Lovely holiday park. Sally and her team were superb and very professional. We stayed in one of the glamping pods. It was clean and suited us for the couple days. The environment was very quiet and calm when we were there(Easter weekend 22).Felt safe as well, frequent checks were done by security around the site. There's lots to explore in and around the area. The local Tesco is just a stone throw away. Our son enjoyed himself and that was the whole idea. Will visit this park again.”

“Highlights full head plus cut and blow dry . I've just moved here and this was my first time at the salon. I had Shauna to do my hair and I was very pleased with hiw she did my hair. She listened to what I wanted .I will certainly use the salon again.”

“Arrived for a family wedding . The staff are lovely and made everyone very welcome. Well done ladies! The rooms are very clean and some have fantastic views-we had a double room (number 11). The wedding room was so pretty and the whole thing was just lovely. Our food was absolutely delicious and I have to say that the garlic mushrooms on sour dough toast (starter) was fabulous! For breakfast we opted for the cooked option which was really nice and there was a veggie option too. The location is wonderful for people wanting dramatic outdoor photos with lovely scenery in the background. It was just lovely .”

“This week we were fortunate enough to have our wedding at The White Hart. The whole staff and establishment couldn't have done anymore for us. Their attention to detail on the day was impeccable and even the smallest request was delivered with such enthusiam and the team were so personable. Even when small hiccups occured before the day Charles and his dedicated team made us feel so valued and wen't completely out their way to get everything the way we wanted it. We had comments from our guests that the quality of the food was the best they have had at a wedding and the venue looked incredible with the roaring fire and it's naturally cosy atmoshphere. The rooms were immaculate and incredibly warm and cosy with all details thought of. We'd like to express our sincere thanks and couldn't reccommend this venue and team more to deliver your special day. Dr Misagh and nurse Sarah make each visit a joy. I am put at ease as soon as I enter the room with their friendly, jolly attitude and attentivness.
