"Hit and miss. The hotel is going through an upgrade. The staff are lovely. My room was superb. The restaurant left a lot to be desired. Parking was free and plentiful. So it depends what you're after, but I thought is was fairly OK for a mid-week business trip."

"A reasonable attempt to refurbish an old hotel - beds good, heating good, rooms OK overall, bathrooms allways a disappointment - old tired poor design & no consistent hot water. Good value for £. But in a few years it will be awful again."
