“A brilliant Saturday morning visit where we saw the wonderful reptiles, amphibians and arachnids. The staff were very helpful in giving information and advice on how to look after the animals, including advice on tanks / enclosures, feeding etc They seem reasonably priced and are definitely worth a visit. (You can also pop to the Aquatics shop next to it, where the staff member is very welcoming and knowledgeable.)”

“I often visit during the weekend when supporting young adults with autism the team are kind and supportive and very accommodating to what ever random food requests are made. The warm family welcome has made our young adults comfortable to order independently and to sit and eat. The food options are varied and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend for SEN families to visit for a meal and wander around the garden centre.”

Highly recommend private hire for any type of celebration as lots of different options available. Food is fantastic and so much to choose from, drinks are great and reasonably priced. “Our first time at the Jobbers Rest. I booked a 3 course meal + wine courtesy of a freebie virgin experience and from the moment me & OH arrived, we were made welcome. Ordered cheese soufflé with sauce & beetroot terrine to start, confit duck dauphinois potatoes French beans & carrots & trout with brown shrimp potato rösti, then sticky toffee pudding ice cream & pistachio soufflé & ice cream. Even the house red was very good. Cappuccino’s were good too. All courses were beautifully prepared & cooked, especially the pistachio soufflé. The service was as good as in a top class restaurant, attentive but friendly. A special shout out to Lee, our waiter, what an excellent job he’s doing, paying close attention to everything. We’re looking forward to returning very soon. Would really recommend.”

“Went for lunch for the 1st time. We ate off the lunch menu 2 courses £17 or 3 for £19. The meals were amazingly good for the price. I had the King Prawn Linguine which was the best I've had at any restaurant. Followed by Chocolate Brownie with ice cream. Great service completed a 5 star experience”

“We had a lovely family meal at Ginger Lounge Indian Restaurant. The food was excellent, very tasty and the service was excellent. My meal was the Bombay Sizzling Tava which is shown in the picture. Surprisingly it was not hot and spicy which is what I was expecting but very flavoursome and really quite mild. We have had a few meals here and enjoyed every meal.”
