"Roomes Fashion and Home is a wonderful store that offers a wide variety of home and fashion items. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to offer advice and help customers find the perfect item. The selection is vast, with everything from home decorations to clothing and accessories. Prices are reasonable and the quality is excellent. I recently purchased a couch from Roomes and I'm very pleased with it. I would definitely recommend Roomes to anyone looking for great quality items at affordable prices."

"My complaint about this store is the parking situation and the fact that the management and the customer service will not reply to any emails they obviously don’t care about customers concerns I wanted to discuss the parking system I have been going there on and off for many years and as I live a little further out I need to drive there I went there before Christmas and hadn’t been there for a while due to covid lockdowns etc when I bought a parking ticket I believe it was £2.50 for two hours but for some reason in my mind I was thinking I had payed £2.00 for two and a half hours so yes my fault but I made a mistake probably my age I guess but the bottom line is I was in roomes departmental store spending my money I spent roughly £70 on this occasion but thousands over the years in both roomes shops I know they are two different shops now the staff in the store are all lovely and helpful and I like going to the cafe for lunch occasionally but the shop is nothing special and generally overpriced unless there is a sale on so rather than risk another £60 fine I will go and spend my money in lakeside or elsewhere the customer service should have at least replied to my 3 messages two there online website and one email very disappointing really unfortunately standards are dropping everywhere today"

"I like Roomes. It is the type of large, multi-purpose shop that seems to have been there for ever. A good choice of bedding and kitchenware. Think Debenhams but with friendly staff and you won't be far off. I must admit that I seemed to be the youngest customer by some distance, but that probably had a lot to do with the time of day I went there."

"Roomes own website states Free Parking for customers so I will fully suggested some visited relatives went their recently, sadly the website is false and they issued a £100 parking charge for the pleasure. The High Street is undoubtedly suffering but they are placing their own nails in the coffin. Better to avoid."
