“This is undoubtedly one of the best West Indian places in south east london. On my recent trip here, I bought a portion of curry goat, rice and peas, jerk chicken, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and a lemon frost cake with custard. Everything I bought was delicious. I’ve had a few bad experiences with other West Indian places (taste wise) but I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I would highly recommend. The staff were really friendly, courteous and accommodating, unlike some other places. I will definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the area!”

“Amazed by this find in the centre of Bromley. I always feel like it’s quite difficult to find a good fresh fish restaurant in London and surroundings: they all tend to deep fry everything and that’s annoying. The Blue Harbour offers a good selection of sea delicacy, big enough portions and a lovely service from the staff. We had a warm welcome as soon as we crossed the door and it didn’t stop until we left. The menu offers a good selection of fish as well as shellfish and seafood with an add on of steak for those who also can’t give up meat! Admirable selection of wines too. Overall it’s a bit pricy, however considering the quality of the food and it’s freshness I do think it’s fair. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and come back for the halibut!!”

“I had the lamb curry dosa and it was icredibly delicious. The lamb curry was beautifully spiced and accompanied with a tomato chutney and an amazing coconut and mint chutney. Both ladies served me with a smile (which always goes a long way imo). Will definitely be travelling the 8 miles for this!”

“Excellent for a mid week meal. Simple but with a very colourful and vibrant setting inside. It is very comfortable to be there both physically and with the very friendly and helpful staff. The food is excellent, tasty and very fair priced. They offer a great selection on their menu, including a great choice of vegan dishes. “We love Roti and fried chicken !!! Thai flavour with creativity. The only thing we are not a fan so much is the curry base, far TOO SWEET. It kind of shadow the good mixing fresh spices. Overall we are happy with their creation and will come back to try more.”

“French charm, exquisite cuisine, great service. It feels almost like a time travel. It takes you to good old times, somewhere in Paris. The noise of the city is left outside. Nice and cozy interior. Attentive staff. Top quality French cuisine. Feels very authentic. They do Canard de Rouen a la Presse, which is quite rare these days. I had their signature Simmenthal beef tartare. It is skillfully prepared at the table. We had it medium spicy and it was out of this world. The taste, the texture is just a perfection. I also ordered Agneau en Croûte or Lamb Wellington which was an absolute delight. Another dish mastered to a perfection. At one moment I had an illusion of being a jury member at the French cuisine competition and served with a champion dish. Wine list is well balanced and I liked it had some fine half-bottles as well. The only remark I have is for the plateau de fromages. I wish the selection of cheese could be even better. My strong recommendation for anyone looking for an old fashioned small French restaurant in London. And sincere thanks to the team.”

“Stumbled upon this place by happy chance. Delicious small pasta plates ideal to share, with very distinct flavours. The Ravenna was especially excellent - simple ingredients done brilliantly. The venue is a bit small and so gets pretty loud, and you'd best book to be seated.”

If we were to choose one course that stood out - it would be an impossible task.. but...cured scallops with foie gras, truffle and sourdough croutons were our favourite! “It was an absolute delight to finally find an oriental store with everything I wanted. The store was very well stocked with an assortment to make your mouth water, and help always at hand. Everything was well labelled, priced, clean and tidy.....puts some supermarkets to shame!! I only went in to see the store, and came out with 2 full bags. The prices are incredibly competitive, and the service is excellent. Thank you Mofz, I will definitely visit again. Just noticed they also have a store in East London, that's wonderful!!!”

“Great little Cafe, stopped in for a quick bite as we were working in the area. Good breakfast menu, reasonable prices, staff very happy and welcoming. Breakfast was served quickly and without hassle, breakfast included a coffee or tea and toast. Everything looked clean and no stickiness on the tables or counter, nothing worse than your arms getting stuck to the table. Would recommend this for a good, cheap breakfast”
