Chequers Inn
● Closed“Ordered a 3 course Sunday lunch which I collected. Starters was a prawn cocktail with focaccia and butter followed by roast beef, roast turkey, massive yorkshire pudding, 5 separate veggies, including honeyed parsnips and lashings of gravy. Followed by lemon meringue and ice cream, which we ate a couple of hours later. My wife said it was the best roast she had ever had, and I had to agree. Well done the Chequers Inn at Heaverham”

Loved the vegetarian options (the cauliflower fish was my favorite), very attentive and polite stuff, great music and choices of wines and cocktails. Creamy chicken was also a great hit for us. Don’t miss trying the cheesecake.”

Little Sardegna
● Closed“On my most recent visit, I went with a friend and we had a lovely time. It was a Thursday night and even though we were there quite early (6.45pm), it was really quiet which surprised me. However, I’d still recommend to book as it’s been much busier when I’ve been before. We didn’t have any starters (my friend’s decision - I thought the burrata sounded great!). My main was the crab from the specials board, which was the perfect size and definitely not stingy with the crab. Really tasty. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was creamy and light and I loved the flecks of crumbled amaretti biscuits on top, and the lemon sorbet. It’s hard to know what to say about lemon sorbet as it’s rare it’s not good. This was good. Prices were fair - my crab was about £16/17 and desserts were £6/7 Great for a cosy catch up, or date night.”
-
Murano

Michael Nadra Brasserie & Takeaway Primrose Hill
● Closed“Absolutely blown away by this place. From the moment of booking with friendly accommodating service to the COVID-safe experience and amazing food and selection of wines and cocktails. We went for the mixed olives, soft-shell crab tempura, burger and chunky fries and the Sunday roast (sirloin beef) - all cooked to perfection. The stick toffee pudding was to die for. Highly highly recommended.”
-
St John Bread and Wine
● Closed“No one can do what St. JOHN does as consistently well as JOHN does it. Everything is delicious, no matter what you choose. Make sure to make a reservation! It is priceless to have a place you can come back to in a beloved city that upholds the same high quality time and time again. It was a pleasure to bring my partner for his first time. We promised to come back before we leave for home. The chicken liver with brandied prune was my favorite. Our other small pick Smoked Cod's Roe, Egg and Cress was knockout. For large plates we dabbled with a vegetarian option. I was nervous as I ordered the Roast Squash, Sheep's Curd and Watercress, but “Wow!” This dish was perfect and satisfying. The duck leg was awesome! Less chive with the aioli might have been better, but a bold choice none the less. A note on beverages, the sidecar was amazing and perfectly balanced. Can’t wait to return many more times!”
-

Sachi
● Closed“Such a stunning setting. Very inviting and relaxing. One of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve come across in London! The service is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. Top that with incredibly delicious Japanese cuisine and it feels like you’ve been transported directly to Japan! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favour and book a meal at Sachi. You will not be disappointed”
-
Nonos
● Open“Amazing dishes and service and place! We got the rice covered with leave for the starter and it was so good! Also the lamb with pita bread was amazing. We asked to cut the chicken wrap in two and they were so kind to cut it nicely! The service in general was amazing and so kind. Also the place was very pretty with the gold frame without the paintings :) And I really really enjoy baklava! They said they prepare it for 4 days. The quality was so much higher from other baklava on the street. I would like to come back for sure if I want to have Greek food!”
-

Wish I had an appetite big enough to try the dolmades as well! They also bring you pita bread, olives, small bean salad, radishes and hot peppers as a complimentary appetizer. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.”
