“A really lovely large park. Children's playground, a massive lake with 3 different piers which overlook it, a viewing mount you can see all around from, and a massive field. Really good for children to run freely, or cycle in.”

“Hot desk friday at the store. Bottomless coffee and snacks :) I liked sharing the space with other people working out there. In these times of working from home its nice to take a break from home and go sit and work from cafe. I am glad Croydon has such place for us.”

“I’m really glad I invited Gordon to my son’s birthday party for around 25 children and their parents. He is a true professional! He greeted each child and built rapport with them, he entertained them with unique, fun and inclusive games and then did a spell-binding magic show! Gordon made sure my son was at the centre of the party and was made to feel very special! His friends were so engaged with the games which they haven’t played before and the surprise on their faces from the magic was so wonderful to see! My son and his friends had a fantastic party thanks to Gordon!”

“Was recommended this cafe by my local FB page, and I can say, this cafe did not disappoint. Breakfast was spot on. Eggs were perfect, proper mushrooms and bacon. Everything on the plate was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Very clean, great ambiance and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.”

“I am a regular customer at Tana B and I can not recommend them enough. Always leave the salon loving my hair! I had my hair done this week and despite the Covid precautions Tana and the girls still provided the highest standard of service I have always received. They were all well prepared and felt I was in safe hands! Looking forward for my next appointment!”

“I have never been disappointed by this shop! You can find pretty much anything that you will find in a supermarket. Baby food, 10kg rice bags, meat, Indian spice, a wide range of snacks, frozen foods, fresh vegetables, fruits, big bags of onions for great prices, curry leaves, dosa batter.. anything! And of course it’s an off-licence!”

“Dined at Taste of Bengal for the first time ever this evening and I have nothing but good things to say. The food was amazing, so flavoursome! Papadoms were offered whilst we decided on our mains and came out warm which was nice. I had a Badshahi Chicken and the Mr had a Chicken Tikka Masala, both had generous amounts of chicken. Sides included the best saag aloo I've had in ages, onion bhaji and garlic naan. Server (didn't catch his name sorry) closed with "we hope to see you again regularly, you'll always be very welcome" such a warm an friendly service. 100% recommend and will definitely be visiting again/ getting take away. After doing plenty of my own research Caroline was able to beat any cost I could find and sort out flights , accommodation , transfers and even the ski hire / passes. It was very helpful having all elements in place for us, to have the one point of contact. We were not disappointed with the accommodation Caroline found for us. Perfect location and facilities. Caroline managed our flights check in, even helpings facilitate a late upgrade for our return flights! “Top Class family run Indian / Bangladeshi takeaway in South Croydon CR2. Food is always fresh, consistent and piping hot... Guy on the telephone is mega polite and always remembers your order too... Delivery guys are friendly and always spend a few minutes asking about your life and holidays... Reasonably priced, good quality, well established (+15 years!) and local! 10/10”

“Was impossible to get through by phone, but went down and ordered so finally got to try it. Definitely worth it compared to all the others in the area. We have had some real hit and misses but this is definitely one we will be using again, just beware the time it can take to get it.”

“I was surprised at the lower reviews. I have ordered takeaway lunch twice. First I had iddyuppam, the only slightly negative comment I can make was that aubergine portion was pretty small. Yesterday I ordered chicken kottu rotti and chicken curry, both were super tasty and I'll definitely be returning.”
