"Went here for the first time for a roast after hearing nothing but good things. Was seating promptly however the restaurant was half empty and we were seated right by the front door which kept us cold at times. Service was good, ordered in a good timely fashion and food arrived quickly. THE FOOD I ordered lamb, it was nice - fatty in some areas if I’m critical. Potatoes were LOVELY but not as crispy as we thought. Veg was nice and gravy was tasty although abit salty. My biggest downfall for this roast was the Yorkshire puddings. Unfortunately they were not the classic homemade, odd shaped ones you’d expect. Instead, very Aunt Bessie like."

"Food was quite nice but it’s a little expensive. The service was lacking but it was a Sunday afternoon so no big deal really. We did have a waiter come over who must of just started towards the end of the meal he was much more attentive. Would go back again to try the rest of the menu as the food was nice!"

"Hot desk friday at the store. Bottomless coffee and snacks :) I liked sharing the space with other people working out there. In these times of working from home its nice to take a break from home and go sit and work from cafe. I am glad Croydon has such place for us."
