“We didn’t have a booking and three of us were starving. The manager happily helped us get a table and said we have to return it by a certain time which was totally fine because we just really want to eat. We had eight types of tapas, chips and a bottle of wine. All of them were amazing and tasted homemade and made with love. Will def go back again when we’re back in the area.”

Delicious food with a good gluten free menu and gluten free flags on the GF plates so you know they are actually gluten free :) They staff were very friendly and were wearing masks to keep people safe which was very nice to see. I would highly recommend this restaurant.”

“First time visiting Megan’s and it was spectacular. We did have a long wait to order and had to grab the attention of staff a few times. However the food was incredible which made up for this. We got a platter and a few sides and each dish was so delicious. I would recommend booking in advance as it was a long wait for walk ins.”

“First time visit to Choki Dhani and I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe I was too hungry, just nostalgic, or most probably the food was delicious, that I finished everything what I got and ordered myself a dessert too. Prices were steep but service was impeccable, servers were attentive. There was a service charge which was implied on the final bill but that was clearly articulated on the menu. A must try, if you’re in London and crave authentic Indian Gujarati food!”

“Very cosy little restaurant by the castle, we really enjoyed the food. We ordered from the silver set menu, my friend chose 3 course which comes with the soup and I chose two course and we had more than enough food. All items were delicious & felt freshly made. They serve halal chicken so we asked to replace any other meat with chicken. Staff was very helpful & pleasant.”

“Amazing place and Thames river and tower bridge view. All the dishes are really amazing. We are ordered 2 appetizers /2 mains/1 dessert/1 bottle of wine/1 glass of dessert wine/1 liquor around 384 pounds. Staffs are very professional. There is sommelier comes to your table to explain and pouring the wine. I was very impressive. There is many sections like bistro /restaurants. You can book online.”

“We had my mum's wake at the Weir. My mum had lived in Walton near the Thames for most of her life and it seemed appropriate. I am so pleased we chose the Weir, the staff were excellent, very organised and attentive. I was very impressed, buffet was excellent and it made a difficult occasion much easier. “Booked online giving details of our visit and our celebrations and preferred seating! Brilliant seat looking out to river! Then Gemma our waitress introduced herself and she was amazing! Attentive but not overbearing or hovering over us! Food stunning! Then our desserts arrived with chocolate written Happy Birthday for my husband and I had the Happy Anniversary one! (Yes .....we did get married on his birthday!) Atmosphere and music great and sat outside by the river relaxing for a while after with drinks just relaxing! It was the day of the train strike and Uber and taxis letting us down but Siobhan stopped what she was doing to get us a cab firm and that was successful! I last came here many many years ago on the same date to celebrate and did not enjoy the experience at all.....sitting near to kitchen which had a swing door and heard shouting and offensive language every time that door opened which completely ruined our day so you can imagine it took a lot to come back....but took a chance again as heard through the grapevine how nice it is! So glad we did and look forward very much to further visits!! Thankyou again!”

“Wow. I was blown away by this place. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, I felt like they were very inclusive and also gave my dog treats. The veggie roast dinner was probably the best I’ve ever had. The pub itself is very cosy and traditional and has wonderful river views. A really nice place.”

“Loved this place! Had the best chicken and ham pie I’ve ever tasted. My husband had fish and it was so big it hung over each end of the plate. Friendly staff and good service and we ate on the outside terrace overlooking the Thames and St Paul’s Cathedral. Highly recommended for the amazing food”

“This pub is definitely a six star. A relatively recent build in 2016 it offers a tasteful and homely atmosphere. Very good service from the rectangular island bar. The layout is modern with generous glazing at the front offering good views over the Thames. An added bonus was that board games were freely available. I taught my teenage daughter to play battleships. I did it too well as the little horror beat me. An excellent pint of pride too.”

“Very nice place to hang out with friends and colleagues. Cost effective in a place like Canary Wharf. They keep their toilets clean and tidy. Clean toilet should be a must for a restaurant and pubs.”

“One of my favourite places to meet friends for quick coffee and catch up. I find this place to be quite spacious from the inside so chances are you’ll find a table pretty easily. It also has the option for outdoor seatings in which are fantastic during summer time. Definitely recommend.”

“I stayed in Friendship House for nearly 3 months and can really recommend it. The staff is super nice and helped me out especially when I had to stay in quarantine because of Covid. It was possible to make changes to the booking only one week ahead which is why it was possible to spontaneously move out, when I decided to travel for two weeks. The rooms are simple but clean and there is a cleaning service once a week. Finally, the house is located quite central and has a yard where you can lock a bike. It is really hard to find a room in London if you stay for less than three months, so I'm really glad I found friendship house and in comparison to other accomodations it was relatively cheap (especially the shared rooms).”

“We held a 50th birthday party on the boat. Everyone had a wonderful time and the staff were all really friendly and accommodating. With the outside top deck you can enjoy the London views during the evening and later into the night you can head downstairs to the dance floor and turn up the music until 3am! Great fun!”

“Authentic and Delicious Indian cuisine. Being an Indian, I have tried different “Indian” restaurants in Kingston also in London, but this is really authentic. Decor really good, If you want to sit outside… beautiful River view…. One of my favourite places ….”

“Thought we would give this place a try last night and it was amazing, the food quatlity for a all you can eat was Really good. The service was fast and professional, i was reading some people moan about the price but conciding the times the world is in i believe the price is right plus your opposite the castle which hold a premium. I knocked one star off in the atmosphere due to it could do with a lick of paint in areas. Will be back to this place for a belly buster of food.”
