Pier1 Fish and Grill
● Closed“It was the only non-salty fish and chips I had in London. You'll know at first bite that it's a fried fish cooked with very fresh fish. And it was very reasonable prices! I strongly recommend it!”
-
Sen Restaurant
● Closed“Lovely new restaurant in Surrey Quays that have an amazing 2 course lunchtime deal! Summer rolls, salt chilli crispy tofu, beef stew and chicken curry was our order and it was so unbelievably tasty! Their Vietnamese coffee is by far the best one we’ve had in London!”

Hawksmoor Wood Wharf
● Closed“I have ordered the porterhouse steak, 800g, medium rare. It is very nice and strong flavour, you can taste the aged beef’s flavour is much tasty. And the inner deco of the restaurant is better than Goodman. So I definitely will come back again.”

The Boathouse
● Closed“This beautiful little cafe on the river also does day boat hire is in the perfect location. The breakfast rolls coffee and froze are lovely as are the brownies! We hired a day boat for two hours to celebrate our dads birthday we also had three dogs! It made his birthday the hand over and instructions on how to handle the boat and the rules of the river were really good. I highly recommend both the cafe and the day boat hire. Thank you”

The Mayflower Pub
● Closed“Excellent food in a cozy, down to earth atmosphere. The Sunday roast was delicious--the sauce was flavorful and potatoes were slightly crispy, as if baked after steamed. The lamb neck with couscous could not have been better--tender and juicy meat falling off the bone. Starters were excellent as well-- delicate scallops with avo and bacon, and spicy squid in cream sauce with a baguette. One of the best meals!”

The Petersham Restaurant
● Open“I had expected the Petersham to be a bit staid, but our Christmas lunch surprised on the upside! Even playful in parts, the meal was always very good quality. Clearly, they have a talented kitchen team. Service was well paced and friendly, and the 'White Christmas' joke was fun!”

OKAN South Bank
● Closed“A hole-in-the-wall that feels like you’re in Japan. Food was good with Asahi beer on tap and a small assortment of sake and wines. The smell of cooking does radiate into the dining area so your clothes will leave with a hint of it. Sitting at the counter watching the chef make the okonomiyaki and dishes should be fun if you’re into that stuff. A very peculiar yet special place that’s close to the London Eye. Make a reservation before going to guarantee a spot as it’s a pretty small restaurant.”

Curzon Sea Containers
● Open20 Upper Ground, London SE1 9PD, United Kingdom“A cinema for people that appreciate that cinemas are places to be quiet and still. It's a small but perfectly formed venue so if you like the mega screens then look elsewhere. But if you want to go somewhere to actually watch a film, without the inconsiderations and discourtesy from others then try this little gem. Note - the pictures are of the waiting area.”

The Club at County Hall
● OpenWestminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7PB, United Kingdom“I've recently joined The Club At County Hall and it was a superb idea. The team is warm and friendly and the facilities well kept. I love that it's within a luxurious hotel since the hospitality is felt the minute your enter the doors. Keep up the good work!”
