La Dame de Pic London
● Open“Absolutely loved our lunch there. I've done a few of the 3 Michelin stars in London and I think La Dame de Pic is as good as those (if not better than some of them) even though it is a 2 stars. The whole experience was a delight from taste to presentation, including a very attentive service and a lovely setting/atmosphere.”

Demos Continental London
● Open“Fantastic Greek Grocer and Deli. Courteous and friendly service. Great selection of Greek/Greek Cypriot sourced produce. It's about quality and range, not quantity. Not a local, but always worth the journey for me on a Sunday morning to stock up our larder: rarities like Zalatina for Xmas, and top quality staples including Halvas, Kolokasi, Poules, Lountza, Louganiga/Pastirmas, Lahana, Trahanas, and everything else imaginable, including a wide assortment of olive oils. With calming and contemplative Greek Orthodox chanting playing quietly in the background, Demos makes for a very pleasant Sunday morning's shopping indeed, working as an antidote to the mind-numbing soulessness and sterility of the big supermarkets.”

Japan House London
● Open“Wonderful space arranged over three floors. It is open to the public and free to visit. The main street level area has a coffee bar and a mix of exhibits and products for sale. The first floor is a restaurant and bar. And the basement level is an exhibition space and micro library. The staff are friendly and helpful.”

Oddballs London
● Closed“Edit; I did end up going in and it is a pretty incredible store. Multiple types of unicycles, skateboards, mini bikes, juggling equipment and fire spinning toys. There are kites, infinite bands and tons of other circus supplies and fun gadgets. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. Only walked by, but from what I saw there is everything you could need if you want to join a circus, including juggling supplies; sharp, on fire, and blunt. Long boards, skate boards and the things you need to customize them. I will hopefully be going back to the cambridge market to check this place out in more detail, but until then this is all I know.”

London Fencing Club
● Open“I joined the club after lockdown and it's hands down the only sporty activity I've managed to keep up with regularly, over a year now (and I really hate going to the gym generally)! It's a great club for beginners, as you get to fence other inexperienced fencers, as well as people with more than 10-15 years of experience who will give you advice and guidance. The private lessons are also nice and the coaches have different teaching styles, so you can learn various skills from all of them. It's a great place if you're new to London and are looking to also enrich your social life, while getting some intense cardio done!”

Seasons Notting Hill Bistrot

Pets in the City
● Closed“My two dogs have been walked, fed, groomed, loved, given bed & breakfast and generally kept amused by Pets in the City for 7 years now and both they and I are delighted with the service. Sarah, Shona and all the girls/boys who work there are the most cheerful, trustworthy and animal friendly people I have ever met. I recommend them to ALL.”

London Health Foods
● Closed“Great local health food shop. I don’t know what I’d do without them. It is much better than Holland and Barrett with far better quality products. I love going in and I can nearly always find what I’m looking for. If not the staff are very helpful and look to track it down and order it in. Very impressed and good to support local!”

She carefully planned and edited my pre-designed tattoo in terms of placement and spacing to make sure I would be happy. Fine Line Tattoos London
● Closed“Math is the best tattoo artist I know. I made a mistake of getting tattoos elsewhere but I learned the hard way I should never try to find another tattoo artist. I've recommended him to my friends and 100% of them were happy with the final result. If you are looking for a highly skilled and super friendly tattoo artist look no further.”

-
Ace Cafe London
● Open“As ever, bloody brilliant. Really good food quickly served. Staff are friendly, engaged and polite. It's always clean and there's always a friendly bunch of people there. Lots of bikes out front and the Ace seems to have the ability to knock away the armour of the typical Londoner to the point of friendliness - especially if the conversation is about a nice bike in the car park.”

Seasons Bar and Function Room Woodford
● Open“Visited for the first time on a Wednesday evening as a group of 4 friends, with the purpose of seeing Rob Lamberti (who is the best George Michael/Wham tribute act out there-that’s a whole other review!) This venue is like a tardis, with a long/ split ground floor level, large function room and a contemporary outside seated area too, with and 3 bars in total. Spotlessly clean, with an very aesthetically pleasing decor. The whole venue must be newly refurbished as nothing looks tired or worn and there are very stylish black and white pictures of famous faces covering all of the walls. The bar staff are super friendly and very welcoming and the owner Christine is just a delight! We left after a very pleasant 4 hours feeling like we had made a new friend. The house Prosecco was delicious and the pizza’s served in the function room were perfectly cooked, reasonable in price and arrived promptly. Wholeheartedly recommend this venue, if we lived more locally I know we would be regulars. Parking was easy for us as we found a space in the station a 30 second walk away, but otherwise it is street parking. There are large TV’s there showing all of the must see sporting action too. The venue was absolutely buzzing and a very good evening was had by all! Wednesday is definitely our new Friday after a visit to the Seasons bar this week!”

Sly Barbers London
● Closed“I visited Sly's Barber shop this morning. Polite friendly service from Sly & Bishop who were working when I was there, you can get a cup of tea around the corner and wait on the alfresco seats outside the barbers. It's a no frills neighbourhood barber's (situated within Crisp Street Market) specialising in all types of hair. Afro, European and Asian. There's a democratic numbered ticket queue system, you get your ticket and wait. It can be sometime because they are popular and busy, especially at the start of the school term. Prices are pretty reasonable £12 (2019 August). If you are in a rush you can book a time slot in advance for £25. If you want to jump the queue the tax is £40. They open at 730am (arrange in advance) and for the early morning slots there's a £5 surcharge. Not bad if you want a shape up before leaving for the city.”

-
London Fields Lido
● Open“Really great way to spend a summer day. Easy to book but accepting walk ins (at least in the morning). It gets pretty crowded but not unmanageable. You need to put your towel on the ground that is concrete but the pool is not overcrowded. Remember to take 1 pound for the lockers (retrievable). They have a cafe that serves coffee, drinks and food through the day. If you book morning you can stay practically the whole day. There is enough place decaded for both free swimming and the professional swimming. Highly recommend!”

● Closed19 Hermit Road, London E16 4HP, United Kingdom“I shop in this DIY store for more than 10 years. They have great customer service. Always helpful and polite. Also they are very knowledgeable and can give you advice if you are not sure about something. They have everything you can possibly need. I'm always happy to go there because I know I will always find what I need. Two times the items didnt fit and they happily returned me the money. Great shop and great people. Support local businesses!! All the way!”

Escape Rooms London Bridge
● Open“Amazingly, fantastical out of this world experience! This was my first ever escape rooms and while the price is a little bit too high (it is central London), it is 100% worth it! The atmosphere was perfect, the puzzles felt right and fair, nothing insanely difficult. I would massively recommend this place!”

Which is so rare nowadays. I have now finalised my purchase and I had a great customer experience. To top it off I also got the cheapest price available out there! I had to leave this review as I would recommend the Bella baby shop to any mom who just wants to shop in peace with great customer service and experience overall. Thanks Chiara for your support. Il Borro Tuscan Bistro London
● Open“Excellent place in Mayfair, the ambiance is warm and elegant. We had dinner last night and everything we tasted was delicious. The highlights were the seafood soup and the tuna tartare, both recommended if you visit the place. We need to come back to taste the meats too. The Ferrari sparkling wine was great and accompanied our food beautifully. We tried the tiramisu too, perfect balance between sweetness, alcohol, coffee and creaminess. We are going back for sure.”
