"Lots of parking a short distance to the main entrance On entry the staff on the tills were very welcoming, super helpful and friendly too I was soooo amazed how beautiful this place was, what with it being so close to the City of London The pathways were easy to walk along. Good footwear is always advised as some had a few little puddles. Signage to the hides and routes is very clear. Hides are so spacious. Some have soft padded seats too so makes it nicer to sit and take in the wildlife for longer periods, I did and enjoyed my packed lunch too Everywhere else is really well maintained and clean too. The shop has an assortment of gifts and even goes as far as selling binoculars and scopes Definitely going to revisit as it was one of my best birdwatching days ever"

"Love the outdoors you’ll love this place. Bird watchers bring your binoculars! Free parking, food, map of walk, gift shop.. Otters to see when out, lots of wildlife, benches to watch and entertainment. Great for all ages, playgrounds to keep kids entertained and activities along the way. Highly recommend."

"Great place to wander around for a few hours - close to Kew Gardens and Richmond Park. You can see a wide variety of birds as well as the otters. The site has a nice cafe and shop as well. We went late in the day and I think they should offer a cheaper rate for that as its a bit expensive for families"

"Cannot have fallen in love with a nature reserve faster. So many hides to sit and watch the birds from, so many small lakes with all varieties of duck. May have required a toilet at the furthest end of the west wing but otherwise cannot fault it. Perfect for bringing young kids to educate them about wildlife too. If you're after the most beautiful spot, head to the reed beds on the south wing - pure serenity!"

"Stunningly beautiful! My daughter went with the school and liked it so much that we went again at the weekend. It's really well taken care of and incredibly rewarding as a family. We will definitely look at membership."
