“Freshly fried fish and chips. We ordered two small pieces of small Cod fillets and had to wait 10 minutes for them to fry it. We arrived there a few minutes after opening of the shop. We were soo surprised when the order came because the “small” piece of fish was easily 30 centimeters long! The fish was thick and tasty!”

“We had such a great time at Rock&Rose the cocktails are so well presented and taste great, the food is incredible and a dessert platter?! Brilliant idea! Staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly. The chairs were like armchairs and super comfy. We would definitely come back.”

“I always enjoy eating here. The service is excellent, very attentive without being intrusive and you don't feel rushed or pressurised. The food is excellent too and very consistent. The decor is beautiful and very stylish and colourful. The upstairs Isabella room is very nice and perfect for a private function. I highly recommend this place.”

“The Refuel Bar & Restaurant is a delightful place to have a drink or meal with friends, before a show or cocktail before moving on elsewhere. We were looking for a place away from the Soho crowds and having called them within five minutes we had a table for 6. The cocktails were lovely, well presented and very tasty. The staff were respectful and excellent in service. The design of the bar and surrounding area is elegantly thought out and the imagery behind the bar is awesome. Highly recommended – a little hidden gem in Soho, close to bars, China Town and theatres.”

“A new place to be in Richmond! we live nearby and was super excited to know that Scott’s is opening in the area. The raw bar selection was great and several oysters to choose from. The crab and the prawn in hot starters was delicious, with a lobster as main. The cocktails selection was great both strong and refreshing option. Shaba and Jerome look after us and so as the entire staff who’s very welcoming.”

“I took my partner here for afternoon tea on his birthday. We had an excellent time. The staff - Roxanne and Chris - went out of their way to welcome us and to make the experience feel special. The afternoon tea itself was fantastic with beautiful freshly prepared sandwiches and fresh warm scones (baked in-house). Highly recommend for dinner, lunch or a special occasion - we’ll be back soon!”

“The beef Sunday Roast was spectacular, one of the best I have eaten recently. The Margarita Picante is just great. It is not to spicy, but it gives a great twist to a great classic.”

Delicious food with a good gluten free menu and gluten free flags on the GF plates so you know they are actually gluten free :) They staff were very friendly and were wearing masks to keep people safe which was very nice to see. “A gorgeous, warm, vibrant, romantic, welcoming, charming restaurant. I visited on Saturday 29th October 2022 for lunch, for two. The menu appeals from top to bottom, the service is friendly, attentive and what really appealed was the recommendation for a wine so perfect for lunch, there was no way I'd have chosen so well. Overall, this is a fabulous place for lunch and I reckon even better for dinner......which I'm looking forward to finding out :)”

“It was the only non-salty fish and chips I had in London. You'll know at first bite that it's a fried fish cooked with very fresh fish. And it was very reasonable prices! I strongly recommend it!”

“I have been to the Crown for casual evening drinks while sitting outside in their nice garden a couple of times but never been there for lunchtime or dinner. I finally had a chance to book a table (advisable because I tried to turn up in a couple of occasions and they were always full) and had a fantastic dining experience! Food was fresh, tasty and presented beautifully, with great staff and excellent beer and wine selection. I am looking forward to going back”

“This is an old fashioned 'local' with no food served other than crisps and peanuts etc but the landlady is very friendly. My walkers group have just resumed visiting there after our walk and she always bakes delicious cakes for us. There is a nice little garden to the side of it with very comfy patio furniture”

“Lovely dinner at Bacco Ristorante Italiano after an afternoon in Richmond. A small menu that is well executed. The bruschetta with burrata, risotto with asparagus and prawns, and tagliatelle with black truffle were all excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of Italian wines. Large outdoor seating area under large umbrellas. Definitely will return and would definitely recommend.”

“Pepe the owner has been in the restaurant business for 50 years, he's passionate about good food and good wine. Pata Negra is Putney's newest Tapas restaurant that serves great food and has a late night bar underneath for dancing. Pop in and say hi to Pepe and Putney Tapas - wish I could leave more than 1 review for Pata Negra as it's always good when I visit, food is delicious and menu always changes based on the ingredients available. Try it, you'll love it ;) still great food every time.”

“The lunch set menu was really good value and excellent quality. Loved the Prawn Cocktail on toast, and the Pan Fried Seabass with a lemon and butter sauce, these were perfect and I’d highly recommend them! Also we enjoyed the Duck Rillettes and Brevette Steak buried under a pile of shallots. All washed down with a pleasant Carafe of enjoyable House red, we’ll definitely be back for more again soon.”

“Found this place on one of delivery company's website and didn't regret it! The burger was really really nice and very filling (two meat patties) and the Sticky Korean Fried Chicken was pretty good too even though I am not a big fan of peas in rice (it tasted much better than it looks). “I used to live here back in the 70s /80s my grandfather was the landlord so my review was always going to be biased . First time back in nearly 40 years with my kids. The pub hasn't changed that much. Great trip down memory lane.”

“The food was cooked to perfection, we had Sunday roast, fish and chips and veggie salad and everything was just unexpectedly good. Flavors with many layers of spices and textures, quality of ingredients - everything came together so well! The service was a bit slow thought because the place was very busy but the food was worth every second of wait.”
