St Monica House
“The sisters were very hospitable and and friendly, the room was nice and clean with strong WiFi throughout the floors Muchas gracias”
The Mandrake
“Can't comment for the overnight stay but my goodness, the bar here! Unbeatable! Such an eclectic, amazing vibe with unreal service. The staff are accommodating, friendly and go above n beyond for your experience. If you get the pleasure of meeting Antonio, you won't forget it. 10/10 recommend.”
Ye Olde Crown
“My husband & I had a meal in the restaurant last night. The food was great & priced reasonably. We are vegetarian/ vegan and there was great choice, even a delicious vegetarian pie! The service was provided by a lovely friendly girl. We then went on to listen to the live band ( really good sound) & did some dancing ! Only comment was that a couple of the patrons were getting very drunk and being a nuisance on the small dance area.( May be should have been politely asked to leave & no more drinks served?) Really recommend this lovely pub & well done to its new owners …thank you & as we live local, we will definitely return soon.”
Gospel Oak Cafe
“This is a really excellent café. They do everything from typical greasy spoon fare to top quality coffee. They also do a great lamb shish kebab, one of the best I have had in London. I have given the décor a good but everything else is excellent. The staff are very friendly.”
The Red Lion Hotel
“We stayed here for just one night. Beds are comfy rooms are clean and tidy. Staff on reception was also lovely. Breakfast food was lovely but there was one member of staff (man) as the girls was so polite made you feel like you was an inconvenience breakfast was served between 8-10am we got there about 9.25am and he made us feel like we had got there at 10am. We had to wait for a table which was not a problem but when we was seated the table was not set up properly we had to keep on asking for things Milk spoons the girl realized there was no side plates and we had to ask for our toast twice. Maybe it was a busy morning”
The Swan Hotel, Staines
Crown & Anchor
“My wife and I have visited the Crown and Anchor on a few occasions since the new owners have taken over and always had a lovely time but have never sampled the food. On Saturday 1st October we booked lunch with 9 family members to get together for my dads birthday who we sadly lost 13 years ago. The food was out of this world, all home cooked. I had the cheese burger which I have to say was up there with the best I have ever had. Lasagna, pizzas, Halloumi burger and the liver and bacon were ordered (dads favourite, which my mum had and said was incredible, her words). Everyone said how amazing their food was. (Kids food was great too). The beers we ordered were perfect, these guys really do know what they are doing.m when it comes to pouring the perfect pint. Can’t rate and thank Wendy and her team highly enough. Nothing was too much, we really did feel like royalty. The tribute to dad was incredible. It was the perfect place to go with Wendy and her Husband Marco being Crystal Palace fans as so are we as a family. Wendy put a palace scarf on the table and put a pint there for dad. It’s these sort of touches that mean so much. We told them we would be bringing our German Shepherd with us and we couldn’t believe what they did, a lovely bed at the end of the table for him to chill in. We also ordered a lovely dinner for him which he really enjoyed. Such a lovely dog friendly pub. The play kids area is amazing, kept the little ones entertained for ages. Wendy even set up an art and craft table for the two little ones while we had our lunch as they had theirs first, again kept them entertained. She ended up being like the pied piper with all the kids in the pub following her around. She took them down to the river that runs along the back of the amazing garden to feed the ducks and swans. So way and above. Again, thank you so much guys for the most amazing afternoon, we really can’t thank you enough. I urge everyone to try this pub, you will not be disappointed. And lastly let’s not forget the barman (sorry, didn’t catch your name), amazing service, always remembered each round and couldn’t do enough for us. One last thing, The Crown and Anchor take food allergies really seriously, there are no nuts on the premises, so if any of you have an allergy, another reason to try this wonderful pub. Thanks again and we are really looking forward to seeing you soon.”

William Ⅳ
“One of my favourite corners of the world. I recently chose WIV to have a business lunch due to the space and privacy it offers, not to mention the great chefs who work there- the food is always 100% We were left in peace to work and yet somehow the waiter was always on hand when we needed anything. Thank you so much, Ill be seeing you again soon.”
Tulse Hill Hotel
“I was there with my husband and few friends during a pub quiz night. The atmosphere and the event were spot on. The selection of drinks and beers very interesting and the service super attentive, in particular Nico made our evening very special with his brilliant recommendation on food and drinks. We can't wait to be back!”
The Pier Hotel
“We are blessed in this country with history around us and this pub in this village is like winding the clocks back 150 years when stagecoaches would bring wealthy gentry to this overnight stay on there way to or from , what would then be four day journey to the likes of Canterbury and back . You can literally feel and touch history , enjoy the lovely food on offer and wash it down with a glass of your choice . A unique experience is yours to be had . This pub and this village is our heritage . Enjoy it”
The Bull Hotel
“We came for a dinner dance and an overnight stay. Everything was as expected from a 5 star Hotel from checkin to checkout. Quality of hot breakfast buffet was excellent. It did take a while to get to our room but the room was lovely with pleasant outlook over gardens. Regards P Jones”
UNO HOTEL HEATHROW WINDSOR
“Excellent one night stay, the room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was really very kind and friendly with everyone. A very nice welcome and stay there! we will come back definitely! Thank you for your kindness and services...”
The Stanwell Hotel by Mercure
“Really lovely hotel, staff went above and beyond to make sure we had breakfast before they were serving food. The hotel had free parking, the room was well equipped, however the heating stayed on full all night, so we ended up opening the window to help cool the room down. The only other downside was the shower screen is too small. After taking a shower it leaves a puddle down between the bathtub and the toilet. Would happily stay again, it's within a 7 minute drive of Heathrow airport making it a convenient place to stop when flying.”
Ostrich Inn
“Visited the Ostrich for an evening meal with some work colleagues. Really nice meal and the waitress was just great. Brilliant sense of humour! When we are back in this area we will definitely come back.”
The Drayton Court Hotel, Ealing
“We came across this property when missing our flight back home due to airline delays. The queen had just passed away, R.I.P, so as you can imagine most hotels were booked, especially trying to find a reasonable rate for the same day. We tried to make the best of a bad situation and we stumbled across this hotel by following a metro route away from the airport. We saw that they had just a few rooms left and had to book one of their suites. I'm so glad we did! we found this property to be incredibly quaint! The suites have big Roman tubs in the room! You can bet that after a long day of stress and travel, a nice soak in the tub is just what the doctor ordered. The service was amazing and the pub attached to the hotel had amazing food and drinks! We will definitely look at staying here on our next trip. especially if we get to spend some time with Boba!”
The Duke's Head Hotel, Wallington
“Been here a couple of times now, once for drinks and once for a Sunday roast. Both times were excellent. Super friendly and fast service. Dog friendly. Tvs in certain areas of the bar. There's a pub section and a restaurant section (no dogs in restaurant section). Free dog treats. The Sunday roasts were particularly incredible. I had the Fat Duke (mix of pork, chicken and beef) and it was honestly fantastic. 10/10 recommend”
Clayton Hotel Chiswick
“My go to hotel when in this part of London. Chiswick High Street great place to eat and drink. Hotel itself has great rooms, fabulous breakfasts and extremely helpful staff. Arrived late one evening due to delayed flights, kitchen was just closing but still produced food and drink without issue. Highly recommend.”
The Alma Hotel
“Its an excellent pub, think they need more staff, but they are always jolly, friendly which goes a long way.”
Three Falcons Hotel & Pub
“Fantastic Indian food. Samosas are a must eat. Been there a couple times. Had the same server both times and he was great, recommended great meals for us.”
The Bull's Head Hotel, Chislehurst
“Really lovely Hotel - Staff were friendly and very nice as was the room which was better then many "so called " 4 star hotels. Food in the restaurant was also of a really good quality .From a purely personal point of view and for the price paid it would be nice to have bathrobes and face flannels. That being said I would definitely recommend!”
Snoozebox Olympic Park
“Great location for the 02, Thames cable car. Rooms are snug but very clean, comfy bed perfect for a short stay. Bar prices are reasonable, food looked very nice. Staff are superb, really helpful and always smiling. Will definitely return.”
Blue Sapphire Hotel
“I stayed in Blue Sapphire hotel for 10 days in October , 2022 in a single room. I booked this hotel directly by contacting them and they were kind enough to offer a discounted price for which is far less than the one quoted by the websites, which i generally use to book hotels. Though it is bit far from the Heathrow airport , The hotel is just infront of Seven Kings station and is a very good choice for tourists who want to stay in a budget yet decent hotel and roam around London. They provide good continental breakfast and also there are few food outlets nearby serving Pakistan/Indian kind of food. The staff was very supportive and i highly recommend this hotel.”
Brentwood Guest House
“I booked four nights recently at BGH and absolutely loved it. Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you, my room was huge and the off street parking was a blessing. I was on a course and the room allowed me peace to study at night. Two minutes walk from the high street, for food or local shops - it was brilliant. Breakfast was available every day and the garden room was gorgeous. My room had two wardrobes, a fridge, a smart TV and free wi-fi. My private shower room was very modern, clean and constantly with warm water and lots of clean fresh towels. I was treated to a wonderful stay at Brentwood guest house and plan on returning very soon for another beautiful, rest filled stay!”
The Leather Bottle
“Amazing staff brilliant atmosphere. Amazing place to go just for a drink or a meal. We have our wedding reception there . It was the most brilliant of events could not of wished for a more special day . We stayed there over night room was so comfortable I would recommend to anyone. Deen City Farm
“It's really a great Farm with small place for children to play, also you can watch some kinds of animal like a cow, horse, chicken, pig ...etc. They have a coffee inside and small shop to buy some gift if you want.”
The Vet Waltham Forest
“I recently moved over to this practice from another practice after 12 years. The vets, nurses and reception staff at The Vet Walthamstow are very professional, knowledgeable and just lovely. You can tell that they enjoy working here and it impacts on the care they give. I am so relieved I made this move. My pet has an ongoing health issue and I know she is in good hands. I live in Romford and the journey is more than worth it!”
