Village Vet Hampstead
● Open“Our much-loved Kooikerhondje Maisie arrived at Village Vets Hampstead in a critical condition two weeks’ ago. Maisie presented with acute haemorrhagic diarrhoea and was quickly diagnosed with sepsis. We were incredibly distressed throughout Maisie’s stay (of 8 days); which was made easier by the kind, considerate and consistent communications we received from the team at Village Vets. They carefully walked us through Maisie’s condition and treatment plan(s) at every stage, with twice-daily (minimum) calls. We were encouraged to phone if we wanted to and the team were extremely patient with us throughout the process. We never doubted Maisie was receiving the best care and that everything possible was being done for her recovery. When we collected Maisie from Village Vets, it was obvious that she had truly bonded with her carers, which was so lovely to see. One week after discharge (today), Maisie is fully recovered physically - and is also showing other unexpected improvements! Prior to Maisie’s admission, she was an anxious and wary dog. She is now calmer and more confident in herself. When taken for a post-discharge check-up with her primary vet, Maisie displayed less timidity and wariness than usual. Ironically, this unexpected and enforced ‘socialisation’ has clearly benefited Maisie. We attribute this to the expert care and attention she received from all who treated her at Village Vets. Also, the recommendation of a HypoAllergenic diet and revised feeding schedule has already worked wonders: Maisie no longer barks at us and begs for food (a miracle!). She appears more calm, content and satisfied - she loves her new diet and also looks great. Special thanks to Sam, Chloe, Dom, Natasha and Sarah (and others, whose names we do not know). Without your expertise, skill and sensitive care, Maisie would not be here now. Thank you so much, we are forever grateful. Sue, Ruby, Lisa and Melody”

Vets Now Thamesmead
● Closed“I took Holly here last night. She's been to vets for pets 4 times in the last 10 days, but she had deteriorated over the weekend. The hospital was very busy with just one vet. Francisco Costa and his team were fantastic. He took the time to explain everything to me, in spite of how busy he was. Sadly, I had to let Holly go. There was no rush and I had time to say goodbye. Wonderful people. Thank you so much for your time.”

Medivet Biggin Hill - Darwin Veterinary Centre
● Closed“Very efficient - greeted as we arrived & vet came out immediately. Listened patiently to our list of ‘to dos’ & knew most of them from previous phone call. Routine jabs but we have a very nervous & frightened 3year old dog who has separation anxiety. She tries to nip when the needle goes in so vet brought a muzzle out with her. Very kind vet & our dog struggled for a few minutes but she calmed her down - by the time the vet brought her out she was fine. One happy dog & all up-to-date with her jabs. Thank you.”

Claremont Cattery Ltd
● Closed“I do not usually do reviews but we have used Claremont twice now for our two cats Wanda and Klaus and have been very impressed. The cattery is set in a lovely garden and is clearly very well organised with great attention to detail (particularly important to us as our cats require specific food). The staff are also brilliant and love our cats as if their own whilst they are there - I would give them more stars if I could”

Pinewood Cattery
● Closed“Beautiful caring staff, lovely situation, the only place I will ever leave my cat. The cabins are sheltered with an indoor section with a bed and heat lamp. Lots of climbing spaces and shelves to perch on. You can look at them before you book, and you get to settle your cat in the cabin yourself. They call straight away if there is anything unusual. My family now use them too for their older cats. Mine is an grumpy rescue girl, they understand cats and have worked with her super well.”

Allfourpets
● Open“22/09/2018 I have a 4 year old Shih-Tzu who is incredibly friendly and excitable when it comes to meeting new people and dogs and so taking him to a large Groomers is always an interesting and at times tiring experience. The groomers I have used in the past were good at cutting fur, but the distance became inconvenient and price kept increasing with each visit! And I felt the service was not always completely satisfactory (rushed and overly busy). The styling was not always consistent and I notice my pup felt irritated and had sore eyes after visits. I decided to look online and came across Jane at All Four Pets and I can honestly say that I cannot fault her service. Jane welcomed me into her cosy Grooming salon (which smelt amazing) and I met her beautiful pup who clicked with mine straight away. I have never seen my boy so relaxed and happy, he adored Jane from the moment he met her and vice versa. I was instantly at ease and Jane took time to go through the options and actually offered a lot of useful advice and guidance for after-care. She is passionate about her work and the love she has for animals really shows. If anything my pup was sad to leave! I was very pleased with the styling and would recommend Jane and All Four Pets and will be returning in the future!”

Twickenham Veterinary Surgery
● Closed“Twickenham Veterinary Surgery offer a really personal service. I like it because it is not a chain of surgeries. Mostly the vets have been there a long time and you get to know them, so they know you and your pets. When one of my cats was run over and killed, one of the vets rang me to say how sorry she was. I was really touched. I feel I can trust their recommendations and they will make sure treatment is really necessary and not offered to make money. It's not my nearest vets, but well worth going out of your way to join them.”
