“We are still in lock down, so I didn't go in, so it's difficult to give a good review. But we ordered at the window (2 bacon baps with brown source and 2 teas), waited outside for 5 minutes (my wife was complaining about something or other) and other the baps were ready, we eat them outside. It was all very covid safe and the baps were lovely (to be honest, its difficult not to do a good bacon bap....). It will be interesting to go back when it fully reopens.”

“Absolutely wonderful pub. Tables and chairs around the bar but there is plenty of space there as well. Move away from the bar and there are a number of nooks and crannies to get comfortable in. The furniture is eclectic but comfortable and really does fit with the place. The pub used to brew their own beer but unfortunately had to stop. You will see a number of nice shiny beer vats around. To end, the Guinness was excellent as was the Adnam's Ghost Ship.”

“This is the cafe on the Knole Park Estate (National Trust). You have to book to park. The cafe is, as usual for NT, wonderful. Excellent bacon bap and coffe first thing in the morning. In October the stags are rutting so its very exciting. Lovely long walks.”

It looked just a little bit tired and like a local pub. Should have realised that this just meant it hadn't been turned into a sterile gastropub chain... Because I had the steak. On a hot stone. It was amazing! I love nowhere near... But genuinely if I was anywhere even close I'd go back just to eat that again!!! Service was great and the marquee although temperature went up and down a bit stayed warm enough to keep us comfortable. That steak............”

“I had my son's 4th birthday party at the Sevenoaks Branch. We had a brilliant time and the staff were so helpful in making sure the party went smoothly. It was all set up when we arrived and they were great in making sure the table was ready with lunch on at the right time and they made sure the cake was cut and ready to hand out for us at the end. I'd highly recommend using them for a party. The kids had a fab time and by the time the party ended I was still feeling calm and stress free!”

“Absolutely fantastic! Hosted my friends baby shower here and I can’t recommend them enough! So accommodating with budget, decorations, etc unlike other venues! Food was delicious, everyone was catered for and commented on how yummy it was. Cocktails were fab too! Honestly, if you have a party to host or you just want somewhere to go for a coffee…(or something stronger) this is the place to go! Most importantly every staff member was lovely, friendly and helpful! 10 out of 10!”

“Our initial plan was just to have a cup of coffee before the hike. Then I wanted to have a quick breakfast. Surprisingly the service was very prompt even inside was packed. But I was impressed more by the stylish service and the taste. It's not my local but now and then I want to visit here for their excellent coffee + food + dog friendly”

“An awesome spot for lunch after a long walk in Knole Park. Smiley faces and big welcomes as soon as you step through the door and the quality continues right through each course until you decide to leave after a couple of pints and warning up by the fire. Food was on point ans service was great, couldn’t fault it on bit.”

“This is definitely one of the nicest place I have been to. I have only been there for a meal twice, and can honestly say that I gave never been disappointed with the meals I had. The first time I went there I gad the roast lamb with vegetables, unfortunately when I got there yesterday the only option available was the roast beef, as the Lamb abd Chicken had all gone & boy oh boy! was I glad. The beef was cooked to absolute perfection by Ben (The Owner) I would suggest phoning at 12.00pm (when they open) or a day or two in advance if possible, to book a table , and get there early.. Ben and his staff are extremely pleasant, & can't do enough to make sure you enjoy your experience of eating at his Pub/Restaurant. I would definitely go again. “Nice cafe with large inside seating area and a few outside tables close to the main road. Large bifold windows in one section with seating next to them is a nice touch. Reasonable prices... coffee, cake and cooked food available. Limited parking outside, but close to town centre parking and on street parking close by.”

Me and my husband had roast lamb. The lamb melted in your mouth one of the best roast dinners we have had in a long time. We was very lucky to be fitted in as it was very busy so I would advise to book. Looking forward to our next visit.”
