Went there and they knew nothing about it, but went out of their way to find out and ensured that they saw online is what I got, and was happy ! “A great inexpensive hotel. Service was a little slow at times as they seemed short staffed. The same guy checked us in, was later behind the bar and waiting tables for dinner, and was also single-handedly running the front of house for breakfast. Our room was clean and modern. There was a hair dryer but no safe. There are a few shops very close by, but apart from that there's nothing of interest in the local area. The hotel is a good option as a stopover or to use as a base as it's near major roads.”

Tracey is amazing and Tony the Landlord is just so affable and really ensures your wellbeing and comfort. Beer garden is lovely in summer and being closed off, it is great for kids! “We visited twice on one evening. The first time we had a bottle of white wine and the barman was happy to let us try a couple of samples. We ordered a lovely bottle of white wine. The second time we popped in for Baileys and red wine. Again the same Batman who was super helpful and friendly. He is half Italian.. what a credit to you.”

“I had some lose tiles due to worn out grouting in my ensuite bathroom. Mr Handyman-i relaid new grouting and ensured the tiles were firmly fitted once again. Couldn't have asked for a more swift, professional service for an affordable price. Would highly recommend.”
