“We are super grateful to this establishment, especially to Usman who helped us find our Airbnb. We are from Spain and we got lost without knowing where we were, he put our mobile on charge and was very kind at all times. We have been here in islington for 6 days and we have done the daily shopping for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has everything! We will be back soon. Thanks for everything Usman.”

“Great selection of food, drink and stationery. An Evri parcel agent too. There is a cash point/ATM in the wall. Loads of parking in front, free for 30 minutes.”
Brent Street Food & Wine
“This is a great store and they have all the items you may need day or night. Fruit and veg selection is very good and very low prices for such freshness. The staff are always helpful and very fast at the counter, always willing to help the item you may be looking for. They are open very late too which is helpful for those that may need to buy items late at night or need some medications for a sick child.”
Sainsbury's Local
“Needed to fill up tyres with air but couldn’t get screw cap off one tyre - went inside to ask and one of the staff went to his own personal car to get me a pair of pliers! Fab service!”
Sainsbury's Local
“It's a sainsbury's local, so it's a small place to buy essential stuff. I usually go there to buy bread and other sweet bakery in the morning they have a good variety and they're very good at it. Overall the store has a decent size and quite a good variety of products. Doesn't feel super crowded nor narrow as other small local shops. The staff are usually nice and friendly! The self checkout machines are really helpful as it can get busy in there sometimes. Apparently there are several bad reviews on this sainsbury's talking about the parking. This is a sainsbury's local, there's no parking like the big Supermarkets. This store is great for people who live nearby or are passing by on foot or cycling. If you have a car then you have to park it in an appropriate place, since the parking spots around are clearly shown as "Loading area".”
Stelling Food Market-Nisa
“Older gentleman behind the counter is upbeat and cracking jokes, it's your standard convenience shop but a sense of humour goes a long way in these times and all times. Thank you for the service you provide, many forget without local shops we'd have to walk a fair while to get our every day items and parcel pickups.”
Co-op Food - Kennington - Walworth Road
“The co-op was right next to our hostel and dropping by for breakfast/supper food was super easy. It seemed cheaper than other stores, but I don’t have much comparison. It served us perfectly on that specific occasion, which was visiting London and staying in the neighborhood.”
Co-op Food - Camden - Camley Street
“Great little shop overlooking the Canal. It’s very small yet has a good variety of products available. The fella by the name of ‘Krishna’ seriously deserves a promotion! No matter how early in the morning it is, nor how busy the store may get, Krishna consistently serves every customer with a smile, providing excellent customer service.”
Nisa Local
“I’m leaving this review to commend one of the young men who were working in this shop on 15th June Waiting outside for my wife I noticed a pigeon stuck on the anti bird spikes fitted above the shop front It was in a lot of distress and had clearly been struggling for some time While my wife tried to call the RSPCA I went into the shop to let them know To my very pleasant surprise one of them went to find a ladder so he could try to help it Actually all the commotion seemed to spur him on and the bird managed to free himself and appeared to be fine. Such acts of kindness should be applauded”

Squires Cafe & Restaurant, London
“I made a visit to the try the food at the Barking Road branch with a friend of mine. I had the Okro-Ogbono soup with beef and pounded yam. The other options were assorted meats (including shaki/tripe) and fish however, the beef option was plenty enough for me. The food is warm, flavourful and has a perfect amount of spice. It was perfect for my taste palette as I enjoy spicy food. The staff explained the meat and fish options to me clearly and were friendly to us. I recommend you to have a try if you're ever near Canning Town in East London! PS. We had a conversation with a lady whilst waiting for our meal and she clarified to me that Nigerian people eat there regularly so thats how you know its lit.”
Rainbo Food
“Almost 2 weeks ago, i had chosen to dine in at this restaurant. This lovely young woman took my order. She was short and had lovely brown hair and a nose ring. The young lady was extremely joyful to take our order unlike the other employees. We asked many questions about the food and she answered perfectly. She made sure we were enjoying our food and made sure we felt comfortable at all times. I would definitely come to this fine establishment again to be greeted with this lovely service.”
