“Have dined a number of times and never been disappointed. As it was bonfire night a friend and I decided to get a takeaway. The food was beautiful, hot, with all the right spices, making it the same as if dined in. What was exceptional was that 2/3 minutes after opening the takeaway bag I realised that one item was incorrect but as we liked this starter anyway we decided not to bother to do anything. However the phone went and panorama rang, full of apologies and sent a driver out with the item we had ordered. I said it didn’t matter but they insisted. I thought this was great customer service. Amazing food, never disappointed completed with great customer service by lovely people”

“A great inexpensive hotel. Service was a little slow at times as they seemed short staffed. The same guy checked us in, was later behind the bar and waiting tables for dinner, and was also single-handedly running the front of house for breakfast. Our room was clean and modern. There was a hair dryer but no safe. There are a few shops very close by, but apart from that there's nothing of interest in the local area. The hotel is a good option as a stopover or to use as a base as it's near major roads.”

Tracey is amazing and Tony the Landlord is just so affable and really ensures your wellbeing and comfort. Beer garden is lovely in summer and being closed off, it is great for kids! “We were staying in a hotel nearby and went for a walk to see what was around for food and came across this absolute little gem!! The food is very reason priced, you could be dubious about the price but don't be as the food is wonderful quality and great portion sizes. I had the 8 nuggets and chips with salad and the nuggets were super crispy. A friend had a mixed kebab and it was huge and he said it was really nice. Cost around £35 for 4 of us with drinks. Came again for breakfast and it was just as good fast service, great choice of food and a great price. Over all, people are friendly and efficient”

The second time we popped in for Baileys and red wine. Again the same Batman who was super helpful and friendly. He is half Italian.. what a credit to you.”
