April House Weybridge Boutique Guesthouse
“Super cool B&B with great privacy in comfortable rooms but friendly hostess on hand also if needed. Lovely, calm relaxed place to stay close to London and to a great selection of neighbourhood restaurants.”
Valence House Tulip Tree Tearoom
“What a lovely cafe the food and drink is amazing. Homemade cakes. I purchased some homemade quiche to take away. Well worth a visit. Its lovely and clean.”
Old House
“A friendly, off-the beaten track local pub, serving great ales direct from the cask. Very traditional interior, and the locals are engaged in funny conversations and banter. This was a great pit stop on our long walk. I think this was how all pubs used to be - a genuine meeting place rather than somewhere to extract money out of you - I hope it never changes!”
Mont Rose College, Mont Rose House
“From the first visit to Mont Rose College Campus, I have had great support from all staff. Now, two years later, passed my HND Hospitality and Management course, and all were successfully achieved. Gaining my skill during this course, I want to expand my knowledge and continue to Top Up Business and management, by applying all strategies known. I will genuinely recommend Mont Rose College to any person who wishes to study further. Learning doesn't stop at a certain age, so wish you all good luck. Thank you, reception, tutors, Henry Aluko and everyone at the MRC for all support during my study here.”
Captain Bligh House
“Beautiful B&B in a great location. We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay in the Royal Suite. The living area is gorgeous and it was really good to have the kitchenette and also a separate bedroom - exactly what we were looking for, and all at a very fair price. Simon and Gayna were so welcoming. Recommended!”
Hoath House Kent
“What an amazing place! Fantastic venue for a birthday weekend. The rooms were comfortable and warm and the dinner and breakfast arrangements were impeccable.”
Waterlily House
“Stunning little place, extremely humid so visit on a day you can tolerate it. However, worth the display of so many water lilies, but many other plants too.”
London Coliseum
“A historical London theatre with great decorations in central London. I came to see the Nutcracker with my mum this year! We sit on the upper circle. The view was good and no restrictions. But the legroom is quite squashed cause it won’t have enough space. The Nutcracker show was fabulous! Will definitely watch again another Christmas time!”
Craven House Luxury Serviced Apartments
“The location is fabulous and the suites are gorgeous. All the home comforts and more .Everything you need is walkable , cleanliness is amazing and decor /comfort brilliant . Lucy and Lisa have made our stay really memorable. We look forward to visiting again. The person that left 1 star ⭐️ review couldn’t have been staying at the same place .”
Lawn House of London
“Lovely host, She was very welcoming and professional. I appreciated the ease of getting to the property via directions in the ad. Smartly designed en-suite room, very clean and comfortable. Super fast Internet (quicker than in my own home). I will definitely be staying again - great location for us to get around London. You won’t beat the price and service. Thank you and see you again very soon. AM”
Phoenix Cinema London
“Britain’s oldest purpose built cinema delivers every time. We watched Nomadland here yesterday and some films are just made for the big screen. So much crying in the dark. The top floor bar is sadly still closed. But the process felt very Covid safe and well organised. Staff are always lovely.”
South London Theatre
“A wonderful small theatre right next to west Norwood station. The building itself is rather impressive itself and internally it is rustic and fits in with the building itself. The bar downstairs was welcoming and homely and despite an issue with their cellar, they had a reasonable selection available. The auditorium has a good rake on the seating meaning that I didn't feel too subconscious that I was blocking the person sitting behind me, but not too steep that it makes it a bad viewing angle for the audience. I will definitely be adding this to the list of theatres I keep an eye out on what's going on at.”
Cheslyn House & Gardens
“Well kept gardens with a wide collection of plants and secret paths. Great space to get lost in. Dogs are allowed and an a WC is provide. The birds and fish are amazing.”
Soho House 40 Greek Street
“Love, Love, Love it. ❤️ Jamal and team were amazing, so friendly, chatty. We felt very relaxed and comfortable. Thank you. Will definitely Vista again.”
Old Bank Coffee House
“We came to the old bank coffee house with some Friends today and had a wonderful time. All the staff where so friendly and helpful. There is also a lovely play area at the back of the restaurant for all ages. We will be coming back for sure.”
The crown Coffee House
“An Americano at a sensible price, served promptly and politely at our clean table. A useful meeting venue before catching the Tube 3mins walk away.”
Dower House Coffee
“Exceptional coffee, incredible (and delicious) range of cakes and pastries and a lovely team of staff. Also a nice change to the chain coffee shops - it's a really unique space with a great independent vibe.”
National Trust - Osterley Park and House
“What a lovely place! We live so close but never actually visited. The kids all loved it!! Lovely paths and tracks as well as some good off-road walks/paths through fields and small wooded areas! The terrain all round is reasonably flat so easy to get round with a pram or junior bicycles and even easier for larger bikes or scooters. There is a a nice coffee shop which serves a good range of drinks and snacks/bites and the prices are reasonable. There is also a lovely seated area with plenty of benches just outside. Handy toilets are also close by - just be aware of timings. One surprise was the pretty cool bike track which has some good turns and undulations which is suitable for all ages - even with stabilisers!! Car park has plenty of space and again fixed pricing is reasonable, whether you want to visit for a couple of hours or spend the entire day! Really enjoyable, relaxing and highly recommended. We will definitely be visiting again.”
Chiswick House and Gardens Trust
“A classic designed house with acres of beautiful gardens, trails + a working kitchen garden. A wonderful day out exploring this place, have a picnic or check out the cafe with seasonal produce from the kitchen garden.”
Spencer House
“Little gem in the heart of London. It’s only open on the weekend and you need to book for an hour and a half tour of the house. Beautiful home, very friendly tour guide, amazing garden. I can’t recommend it enough if you like to visit beautiful homes and are into history.”
White City House
“Love this place. It’s such a lovely location and such great service. Love visiting and definitely worth the visit .. Had a fab time listening to a friend DJ and catch-up with other friends ..thanks so much”
Jessamine Guest House
“Great atmosphere, really enjoyed my stay here at Jessamine. Rupert was particularly welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Will defo be staying here again as soon as I get the chance to and want another domestic break away!”
Harmondsworth Hall Guest House
“It's a nice little place with wonderful people. It's not to far from the airport either. There is nice nature path nearby to walk around. Full English breakfast was included. The price of staying is certainly responsible too.”
The Picture House
“My Experience is wonderful and outstanding, What makes this place so special is the staff who take care of all aspects of convenience and comfort of all residents, they are so kind with their 5 stars way of making you welcomed all the time. That was the cherry on top of a great modern flat that is well maintained and really beautiful. My special thanks goes to Cassandra, and Maddie for making sure any issues I face are sorted. I am happy to be part of the Picture house Family. One final thing to mention is that it is all about who manages the property and believe me Savills proved to be one of the top in the market. I have tried others and touched the huge difference specially in Ilford area. my thanks and appreciation to The Picture House Managed by Savills.”
Apsley House
“I took a friend from overseas to this beautiful house in the centre of London ( It's not known as Number 1 London for nothing!) Everyone is so knowledgeable - but if I could just single out Martin for special praise - he took my friend under his wing and explained the house in the most simple way so that she could all understand the significance of this house and Walmer Castle - a place we visited earlier in the week. What a sensitive and kind man - not everyone is an academic and sadly some visitors come from countries who are insular and don't often travel outside of their comfort zones very often. Well done Martin for identifying her interest and enthusiasum but lack of English history.”
London's Roman Amphitheatre
“Amazing hidden gem in London! This is a must for history buffs. This wonderfully preserved Roman site is incredible and the story behind its' discovery and preservation is interesting and inspirational too. Definitely a site to give you 'goosebumps!'”
The Master Shipwright's House | The Shipwright
“If you manage to find your way into this magical space - dont hesitate! We spent an afternoon here thanks to the @NestCollective. This is one good reason to love London!”
King's College London
“The scenery and location of Guy's campus is lovelier than other KCL campuses I thought.”
The Quality Chop House
“We came here for a private event and the food and service was exceptional. The meat was cooked to perfection and had amazing flavor. The appetizers were also well done. The service was great and handled a large party very well.”
Kimpton Fitzroy London Hotel
“Where do I begin? This hotel exceeded my and my husbands expectations. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and I would even go as far to say opulent. When we arrived we were put in and ADA queen room. I didn’t think much of it, but my husband checked our original reservation and we had booked a superior king room with a park view. He went down to let them know about the mix up. Doreen helped to sort everything out and to make up for the error, comped us a suite. We have never felt so cared for in the hospitality realm as we did from Doreen and the rest of the staff at Kimpton Fitzroy. We will always always stay here when we visit London going forward as a result of her and her teams exceptional service. As far as we are concerned, this is the best hotel in London. I would also like to say that every staff member at this hotel was exceptional from the door man to concierge to management. They know what they’re doing here.”
