"SLT is anything but amateur. Although you'll find the actors, directors and backstage staff all have day jobs you wouldn't know it. From the acting to the amazing set design SLT makes a great night out for theatre goers. It also doubles as a day time venue for various activities and has a top notch personal trainer based on site."

"Given this is community run and non profit making the standard is generally good. A small auditorium so good views and the cheapest bar prices around"

"Nice little theatre tucked away in West Norwood. Directions need a little updating as there are 2 old fire stations in the area (one converted to a nursery) and this one, which is at the back of West Norwood Station and a short walk from the library/cinema."

"Watched, the Last of the Pelican Daughters. It was a excellently directed and performed piece at the local South London Theatre. We dnjoyed a drink and snacks at the interval and met the team afterwards. The venue is well kept and the staff were kind and hospitable. It was such an excellent event, we will go back to watch more plays. A perfect night out in South London ✨️"

"A wonderful small theatre right next to west Norwood station. The building itself is rather impressive itself and internally it is rustic and fits in with the building itself. The bar downstairs was welcoming and homely and despite an issue with their cellar, they had a reasonable selection available. The auditorium has a good rake on the seating meaning that I didn't feel too subconscious that I was blocking the person sitting behind me, but not too steep that it makes it a bad viewing angle for the audience. I will definitely be adding this to the list of theatres I keep an eye out on what's going on at."
