hub by Premier Inn London Westminster Abbey hotel
● Open“Excellent stay. Super efficient location and I loved the touch screen buttons on the bed that controlled the lights and room temperature. Breakfast was great and lots of options to choose from. Very nice bar staff and one of the guys at breakfast was so noticeably kind, caring and welcoming to everyone who walked in the lobby. Not sure if he was the manager but it didn’t go unnoticed. Thanks very much.”

hub by Premier Inn London Spitalfields, Brick Lane hotel
● Open“Stayed here on my travels for work. The check in/out process was convenient and staff were helpful and efficient. Brick Lane is a very lively street (perfect if you love Indian cuisine!) and our room was right at the front - we didn't notice any noise at all. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard and I got a good night's sleep on a mattress far nicer than mine at home. Small note that the bed was very high off the ground because of storage built into the bed frame. Not an issue for me but worth mentioning for anyone with restricted mobility.”

Il Borro Tuscan Bistro London
● Open“Excellent place in Mayfair, the ambiance is warm and elegant. We had dinner last night and everything we tasted was delicious. The highlights were the seafood soup and the tuna tartare, both recommended if you visit the place. We need to come back to taste the meats too. The Ferrari sparkling wine was great and accompanied our food beautifully. We tried the tiramisu too, perfect balance between sweetness, alcohol, coffee and creaminess. We are going back for sure.”

The Cavendish London Hotel
● Open“Every part of our stay was exceptional from start to end! We were warmly greeted at the front door where our luggage was taken and our car swiftly valet parked. Staff at reception were all friendly, warm and welcoming and we were offered a larger room or one with a view. (We chose the view!). Our room, on the 12th floor, had a gorgeous view of the Elizabeth Tower, London Eye etc. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. (Items like Eggs Benedict do attract a surcharge, but fair enough.) When we checked out we decided to leave the car parked for a bit longer while we went shopping. As with everything else, that request was met with a smile and a friendly, positive reply. We were truly sad to leave and will definitely be back as soon as we can. Why this isn't a 5 star makes no sense as the ones we've stayed at, Intercontinental included, can't hold a candle to this gem!”

Asakusa London
● Open“Made a reservation before coming here on a Thursday night after work and was happy that we did because 15 minutes after we sat down the restaurant was already half-filled! Last time I came here was 4 years ago and this time round I ordered the exact same dish - Kaisen don, and its safe to say that this place managed to keep it's high standard! I was very happy with the food as the sashimi was extremely fresh, came in a big portion with a layer of rice at the bottom. Thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of it and even though it's now £15 more expensive than 4 years ago I thought it was a nice treat since I don't come here often. Service was friendly, only downside was that the waiters didn't seem to be attentive enough as we had to wait and eventually ask them to come over and take our order. Other than that we had a very enjoyable experience overall. The interior is very authentic, homely, Japanese style which made me feel like I was back in Japan. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Japanese food and I will for sure come back here soon to try other things on the menu!”

Pappa Ciccia Fulham High Street
● Open“Beautiful cosy friendly local Italian. I have been coming here to this branch since I was a kid myself when they first opened nearly 3 decades ago! The fact they have survived everything during that time is testament to the establishment. Over the past 27ish years I have gone for dinner with my parents, on dates - I even went to their special valentines night one year, had dinner and drinks with friends many a night, even my brother had his birthday party here... Nearly 3 decades later it still has the same wonderful atmosphere, with great food and lovely staff. I'm still coming whether for a morning coffee on my way out, to have coffee and a catch up morning or on occasions to stay and work on the laptop in peace... To have dinner with the family. The menu has lots of kid friendly fussy eater items, just in case you have a fussy eater, their margarita is a safe bet, along with a few good pasta choices... For us who love to eat their is a lovely wide choice of meat fish and veg options, spoilt for choice really. Our last family meal we had 3 foodies and 2 fussy eaters. OUR ORDER Starters - bruschetta, melanzane alla parmigiana and 2 portions of calamari. Mains - 2 pizzas, pollo salad, pollo alla milanese, lasagne al forno, Mediterranean sea bass. Desert - YES after all the above we still managed to order ice-cream and some panettone cake which was the perfect way to end the meal. DEFINITELY KID FRIENDLY! The kids love to pop in even if passing after school for one of their famous smartie cookies, which are extreamly popular with the kids locally. The staff always have a laugh with them, and even pulled the odd prank or 2 on the kids when we pop in... The kids love coming here, it's an experience for them thanks to the lovely funny staff. Would recommend.”

The central location, the helpful staff, the modern and clean rooms, the ground seating area and the free coffee and tea. Highly recommend this hotel for those with limited budget but still want a private rom with bath in central London. Just try to book at least two months in advance as I did to get the best prices.”

Clayton Hotel City of London
● Open“Amazing hotel, great location - across road from Aldgate East tube station. Lots of things go do and see in this area - Sunday market was on nearby. Hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, especially Sam and The breakfast was beautiful - you just go up and help yourself to cereal and the hot buffet. There is a good selection available - bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, hash browns, beans, mushrooms etc. Lots of different types of bread / cake available and coffee / hot chocolate etc from a machine. The bedrooms were bigger than a lot of the hotels I’ve been to before and really modern and clean. The shower was really good and there were no unwelcome noises when we wanted to sleep. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel. Paul & Jo.”

The Westbridge Hotel London Stratford
● Open“I stayed at The Westbridge for 1 night with my wife, after seeing Abba Voyage nearby. The hotel is ideally located for Abba, being around a 10-15 minute walk from the venue. The hotel was immaculately clean, and the staff were all very friendly and pleasant to deal with. The room was a good size, and with a nice clean bathroom with a good roomy shower. The bed was comfy (although after the drinks we could've been sleeping on a plank of wood and wouldn't have noticed). We had breakfast in the morning, and were very pleased with it - there was a good selection of Full English items, fruit, cold meats and pastries. If possible, try and get the train here because parking is quite expensive - we paid £25 for our stay to park in the car park of an adjacent Bingo hall (there's no parking included because the area is very busy).”

The Gantry London, Curio Collection by Hilton
● Open“The hotel is really beautiful. The front desk is very helpful and professional. I will share with you one of the examples which reflect the professionalism of the reception. I asked for a taxi from my hotel to the airport through the reception and when the taxi arrived asking about me, the reception start asking different questions to the driver to assure that the taxi is not fake which I really like it from the hotel reception. Going to the hotel room: The size of the bed is enough for two adults and the bed is comfortable. The room size is good compared with other London hotel as most of London hotels room are small. The location of the hotel is in a new area and little bit far away from the most attractive area (30-40 minutes by underground metro) however the underground metro is just 5-10 minutes walking distance. The hotel area is safe, the hotel is just two minutes away from Westfield mall which has a big supermarket and many restaurants and shops. I really enjoyed in this hotel.”

Spaghetti House Italian Restaurant Kensington High Street
● Open“I went here for my friends birthday as a group of 15 and we had an amazing time. The restaurant is absolutely lovely, and super cozy yet still spacious enough for big groups. The food was lovely and none of us had any complaints about it. I ordered the pasta arrabiata and loved it. They gave the birthday girls cake which was also delicious. Our waitress was amazing and so kind, she split the bill between 15 and was so organised while doing so, even though im sure it was a bit of a hassle. In terms of the price, the pasta and main dishes are worth it because the portions are quite big, however the caeser salad my friend got was very expensive for a salad. Overall i highly recommend this restaurant :)) Ps. The bathroom is also really cute for taking photos”

Chin Chin (Pan Asian Dining)
● Open“Having had a not such great experience the first time I was here I was skeptical about coming back. I gave it a second chance and I came with some friends and I had to re-write this review. Firstly last time when I came I waited over an hour to be seated with a reservation. This time we were seated at our reservation time which was good and I felt they listened to my previous message. The food seemed much better this time around. I loved everything we ordered. We finished everything and didn't leave a single bite it was so good. Our server was amazing, she was polite and able to help with a few custom changes per dietary requirements which was amazing. I am glad I came back and I will be sure to come back again if the experience is as good as this one was.”

● Open“I've been going to San Giorgio for years and have never been disappointed. I went with my wife and son who love this restaurant The atmosphere was great inside. The food was fantastic as always and the service brilliant. Cocktails were super. Really is good value for money. We were stuffed, not even room for a dessert. I had mentioned it was my wife's birthday and they shocked us at the end with a candle lit dessert and sang happy birthday which the other customers joined in. Thank you to Giorgio and staff for a great meal and night out. I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant above all others.”

Holiday Inn London - Whitechapel, an IHG Hotel
● Open“Nice reasonably priced hotel with very large rooms (we choose the premium rooms). Very quiet, not much noise from street or other rooms. Neighbourhood is okay as long as your diet does not rely on beer and pork. Bus stop right in front of the door, tube and DLR are roughly ten minutes away. Very friendly staff, especially at the restaurant. Good breakfast. Bathroom and closet in the guest rooms rather small.”
