“Simply put, these are the BEST loaded chips in London! I went to the location as recommended by a friend and got the sriracha shrimp fries and by the time I got home and tried them, I went straight back to order more food! It was simply DELICIOUS! The smokey pulled beef fries and honey sriracha wings were also incredible. The chef was friendly and insightful enough to give recommendations and my girlfriend was delighted they even had vegan options. Can't wait to go back!”

“Amazing food! Portions are big. We were served by Grace. She was lovely and so friendly. The atmosphere was just a vibe. Good food, good music. Now for the constructive criticism. I booked for a friend's birthday and chose a Friday as it was ladies night. We did not receive a welcome drink as specified on their website and social media. The mains came far too quickly as we had literally just started tucking into starters before being overwhelmed with mains which could not fit on the table with the starters. The ladies serving us needs to be more knowledgeable of the menu as everything we asked they couldn't answer. They are all friendly and welcoming but could be more experienced which can be fixed with a little training. Maybe a menu tasting for the stuff so they are prepared and more confident to answer any questions customers may have. All in all, its a great find. Defo coming back! Nice to see a great place and its black owned!!”

“I took my partner here for afternoon tea on his birthday. We had an excellent time. The staff - Roxanne and Chris - went out of their way to welcome us and to make the experience feel special. The afternoon tea itself was fantastic with beautiful freshly prepared sandwiches and fresh warm scones (baked in-house). Highly recommend for dinner, lunch or a special occasion - we’ll be back soon!”

“I’ve come to Rox’s countless amounts of times, not once have I been let down. The customer service here is beyond amazing, they really are all so lovely. The BBQ ribs are honestly the most tender and flavoursome ribs I have ever had, they never get it wrong. All the lambs and chicken are so filling with the generous portions and the drinks are incredible. I’ve tried majority of the menu and it’s all so incredible. I would highly recommend, always book a table because they’re always so busy and rightly so.”

“Since the Wimbledon branch closed we were missing Made in Italy. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. Sharing board had so many different tastes as well as pizza’s sourdough taste was distinct! I can say their pizza is one of the pest. Montepulciano wine we had was leaving a funny after taste. When told, our glasses were exchanged with wine from a new bottle immediately. I knocked the new wine glass but even that was replaced! Friendly staff and excellent Itallian food - Made in Italy continues to be our favorite!! Thank you:)”

“Amazing venue for private parties. Used to be a truckers cafe but now closed. Does occasional parties. It is out of the way so no noise issues. We had a great live band playing until midnight with a DO as well. They can cater or you can do it yourself. Really nice and friendly hosts and allowed us to have what we wanted. Thanks very much - awesome night.”

“I had an amazing time today at Restaurant Ours. The atmosphere is amazing and the food is really delicious as well. The service is on top, all the waiters and waitresses are very nice. And there’s also show during dinner (acrobatics etc). There are many photogenic spots at the venue so if you like taking photos it’s a very great place. We would definitely come back :)”

“This restaurant was flawless! From the outside where there is plenty of parking at the rear of the premises to the front tables to the interior decor and comfy seating. I chose the Bar 1 burger as they only had the lunch menu as they were members of staff down on the kitchen. It was delivered within about 10 minutes and was delicious. I could have had another. I asked the bar server for a selection of sauces rather than the standard mayo and ketchup that was offered and she gave me sweet chilli, English mustard and brown sauce. She couldn't have done enough for me. She was brilliant. Needless to say I will be visiting again.”

“Haven’t been in town for ages, popped in this newly opened Korean BBQ grill restaurant. The big mirror with lights and all the decorations indoor are trendy, felt really different to other places in China town. Thought the food would be much more pricy, turned out they’re alright and affordable. Had a really great time with friends, would highly recommended it.”

“One of the best pubs in East London, on the small side, but welcoming. They have a decent selection of beer on tap and bottle, with some still under 5 pounds the pint. They also have plenty of siting space outside. Traditional decoration, lovely staff and cozy, it can't get much better than this.”

“Went for mother's day steak with in-laws. We were last guests to arrive that night. Excellent rib eye with good sides. And very good desserts. I must also commend the service which was very good and accomodating despite us arriving 45 mins before close of kitchen. I might just come again. Thanks!”

“I was looking for a place with a burrito for dinner and then I found this place. I was greeted with friendly staff as soon as I came in. The interior design is nice, warmly lit and well decorated. I ordered the Chicken Burrito. It was huge and tasty. To go with that I had the Elderflower Lemonade which was nice and sweet which went well with the burrito. It was a delicious meal. For dessert I had the Cinnamon Waffle which came decorated with diced strawberries, sprinkled with icing sugar. Accompanied by a little bowl of chocolate sauce. Pure sweetness. To go with that I ordered an English breakfast tea. To my surprise it came with a little chocolate in a nice little shiny silver box, when I opened it the chocolate had the '90 on the Green' engraved on it which I think looks really cool. I had a great time here. I had a wonderful meal. Whether it be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this is the place for it. I highly recommend. I will return. ^_^”

“Hawksmoor Air Street Hawksmoor Air Street is located in the heart of Piccadilly Circus slipped away into Air Street. Myself and two other guests visited on a Sunday afternoon with empty bellies awaiting to be satisfied. We presented ourselves to the reception area on the lower ground floor, one of the hostesses checked us in for our reservation and held a good conversation with us. We were ushered upstairs via the art deco staircase. Our table wasn’t ready as of yet so we were seated at the bar where we had a fantastic round of drinks. Once the table was ready we was seated in a lovely booth seat. The seat was plumed and really comfortable for our liking. Myself and my other guests ordered an array of items from the menu. This included roasted scallops that were absolutely devine. Cooked to perfection. The fillet steak 300g was amazing, once again cooked to my liking (medium rare) it really did melt in my mouth and finally the apple crumble for dessert which wasn’t too sour and not too sweet finished with a glazed vanilla custard. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and left satisfied. The communication from the restaurant was first class. The General Manager emailed us before our reservation to let us know about road closures and also after our meal to let us know where our tip went to. First class experience and the next visit has been booked in already. 10/10.”
