“When we arrived ( prebooked) we were welcomed with a warm greeting, the interior was lovely, the food was absolutely amazing, definitely worth the money. Unfortunately the portion was too big for us but we were able to have the remainders boxed up to take with us. Highly recommend. Amazing food and amazing service.”

Clever combinations of ingredients and unusually for me I adored the dessert - a gorgeously understated and not over-sweet quince soufflé. “My dining companion and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Ameen's on Christmas Day. This was our first visit. The food, the service and the setting (in the middle of Horsforth Hall Park) were all excellent. Special thanks for the care taken over my friend's egg allergy - nothing was any trouble for the staff. All-in-all, great value for money, and we shall definitely be making a return visit.”

“A brilliant, tiny little gem tucked away down the sidestreet I'm Pately Bridge, home-made cakes and delicious freshly prepared food. Burger and chips, proper chips and handmade burger with proper cheese (not the plastic stuff), other people in party had scampi, jacket potato with lashings of filling and a hearty steak pie. Would definitely recommend and will definitely visit again, hostess was lovely and service was friendly and efficient.”

“Came here on the off chance, we had been to a gig and was in need of a hearty meal. Got the pesto pasta chicken and a bbq pizza. Polite service, was quiet when we went in which was nice. Food ordered at the till and bought over. £28 for 2 meals a side and two drinks, can’t complain!”

“I had seen some mixed reviews before coming, which made me slightly apprehensive. However, I have to say I was impressed. The service was attentive and friendly, the food plentiful and tasty, and the restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere with a nice ambience. I enjoyed watching the chefs work in the open kitchen, and they took great care over the food. Being in a 5* hotel it is towards the upper price point, however given the quality of the food and service I was a happy customer. I would recommend a visit.”

“Absolutely fantastic place, went with a party of 20 for food and Cocktail making class and everyone's food was served quickly and it was all delicious. The two guys doing the cocktail class were fabulous and having a laugh with us all. Will definitely be visiting again”

“Me and my son dropped by for a portion of chips and some sauce. The seating area was far from empty and yet it was quiet, and if a place is full and quiet it means the food has everyone's interest! To say we had a small order we were addressed and spoken to as Kings. A great gentleman served us and he engaged with my boy like we were regular visitors. The food was great and I will most definitely return the next time I can.”

“The room was huge and the sitting area that was attached was incredibly spacious. It felt like a suite! The location is great with all the restaurants 15 minutes walk away. It is just off the motorway and incredibly easy to get too. There is an attached sports gym and pool. I could not get to it due to work commitments but looked huge. Excellent experience.”

“What a surprise! I know a couple of Albanians and the culinary skills would not impress anyone, although I was told how to cook an 'iritch'. So my expectation was not great when my wife and I visited Saranda . However, I was incredibly impressed with everything. The food was amazing the service first class and the restaurant clean and tidy. First class all round.”

It was so relaxed, I wouldn't say this is a place to go if you are in a rush as we had a little wait for our food but it was all made fresh and tasted amazing.
