Plenty of benches to have a sit and read a book or contemplate life Park smells fantastic in the evening mid May ,when various plants start blossoming. Even during a sunny days , it doesn't get too busy. If u play tennis ,there are 8 courts at your disposal (you have to buy a membership which is only a small annual fee). Annoying things are dog owners that let their dogs run freely everywhere without leash - it shouldn't be allowed ( some time ago one dog grabbed my sandwich and the owner lady found it funny)”

“IKEA store arranged over 2 floors with everything you come to expect. Even at busy lunch times there always seem to be somewhere to sit and the tables are cleaning very carefully between each guest. Somehow they have managed to keep the price of food reasonable despite inflation in Summer of 2022. The toilets are well maintained and the staff very helpful. Overall a first rate experience.”

“I popped in to get some slimming world ready meals and the selection to choose from was great! Managed to get 2 weeks worth of lunches to take into work and because of the deals that were on it didn't break the bank! The cashier was also very kind and helpful at the end.”

The playgrounds are spacious, with plenty of room for kids to run around and explore, while the picnic areas are the perfect spot to relax and have a bite to eat. All in all, Ashburton Park is a great place to spend time with family and friends. Highly recommended!”

There are usually some good offers in-store & if using the Lidl app for available coupons. The middle aisles will often have a range of seasonal offers & lines with some well priced bargains, so always worth investigating. Good range & quality of fresh fruit, vegetables & meat. The checkout queues can get long, but the self-service POS tills help when only doing a smaller shop & does tend to be quick even when the store's very busy.”
