Easy meal in Croydon

“I first found this out in December and wow this shop is simple and food is lovely I went on a day it was in strike day Asian food very nice indeed. Quality quality value for money I had to take my food home later on it is well served.”

“Hot desk friday at the store. Bottomless coffee and snacks :) I liked sharing the space with other people working out there. In these times of working from home its nice to take a break from home and go sit and work from cafe. I am glad Croydon has such place for us.”

“This new shop is a great addition to Purley, where you can buy Asian food, including all types of spices, lentils, snacks, etc. Everything is clean and neatly displayed on shelves. Free 1 hour parking bays are available outside, which is convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Leonardo. We booked a double room and paid on arrival, we were then told that we had a free upgrade to a king-size room which was a wonderful surprise and very much appreciated! The rooms are clean, light, and great-sized. The bathroom has a shower and a bath, with a lovely illuminated mirror. We had water and biscuits provided every day during our stay and a working fridge which can be used. There is a bar and restaurant which we didn't use but was always busy which is a good sign, and there is a small shop with snacks and drinks should you require anything. The hotel is situated a 5 min walk from Croydon East station, and takes about 30 minutes to get into London, making it a good base in my opinion. Equally, Croydon centre is a 5 minute walk and there is an array of places to eat and drink nearby. Would stay here again and would recommend.”

“I ordered food from Pizza 2 Night and the customer service was better than I have seen at some high-end London restaurant. The owner of the shop was very kind and I received my food warm and fresh. I ordered the pizza with stuffed cheesy crust and it was very tasty. My younger brother loved the chocolate cake. We definitely be ordering more from here. “Great food, very friendly staff. Vada pav had a slightly different coating but tasted delicious. Pav bhaji was good, ras malai cake is a must try. Good find in Croydon given that there are rare Indian street food restaurants here.”

“Best pizza I have had in London, I was almost surprised by how everything was so good, the pizzas, the wine, the liquor and the coffee, I didn't want to leave the place. The two guys in there are amazing and so friendly, I felt I was in Italy, thank you guys, well done.”

“Had an absolutely lovely experience at Paratha Inn when I visited in 2021. I am planning to return soon when I am in the area. The Parathas were lovely and the ambience of the restaurant was great. I loved the food immensely and my kids loved the food as well. The portion sizes of the Parathas was quite big too. Definitely visit this place.”

“Excellent cafe I had the pancakes breakfast number 1 that came with pancakes bacon sausage hashbrowns scrambled egg and toast all beautifully cooked and super tasty. The cafe itself is very clean and tidy with very friendly helpfull staff. The menu is stacked with all foods from super health to super treats and also great milkshakes and beverages.”

“My favourite place for groceries! It's not a massive branch bit they stock pretty much everything and since it's around residential area, it's mostly families visiting. I love bringing my little one to do a bit relaxed shopping. Plenty of parking spaces available.”
