“I came here to buy fish food for my holiday. I have a single goldfish and the only holiday fish food available was for tropical fish. I asked the friendly staff for help and advice which they gladly gave. The chap on the till was the most helpful and informed me the tropical fish food simply has more protein in it than the goldfish holiday food would have done (which was out of stock at that branch) so it was safe for me to give my pet the tropical food. I'm pleased to say I returned from my holiday to find my beloved goldfish happy in their tank, having been fed perfectly well.”

“We love taking our cockapoo to Molly & George. In addition to grooming, they also clean her teeth. They are really lovely and kind and know how to handle a dog that’s anxious being left at the groomers.”

Seem to also have a good range of small animal stuff as well as some live animals who (from what you can see in store) seem to be well cared for. Usually have some good deals on as well as regular money off vouchers for members.”

“I took my cat Max after he was hit by a speeding car unfortunately my regular vet was closed but I took him here. Despite their best efforts he passed away. The vet Darren and the receptionist Liz were very helpful in keeping me updated with his condition explaining everything to me. Even when it was time for him to go I was treated with up most compassion and he was treated with the up most care. I would have no hesitation in recommending this vets.”

“We've been with Shenfield vets for around a year now and they have always been helpful and compassionate with the problems our dog has. Never feel rushed and, given the costs of obtaining the ongoing medication our dog needs, they offered to give us a private prescription so that we can buy the meds on the internet for half the cost. Definitely recommend this practice, one of the best I've ever belonged to.”

“Iv'e been an almost daily customer for the last 7 years. Of course when Gail sold after 28 years to have a simpler life we were all sad. Fortunately Diane stayed on who is so caring, supportive and really helpful when advice is needed. My dog drags me in there everyday to see her, Steven, Nicole and Bryce and when our cat went missing they really helped get the word out. I see Steven is really calm and gentle with the dogs and does a detailed job. Dog grooming isn't as simple as most of us think. A successful hairdresser I know trained as a dog groomer and decided it is too undervalued by customers who don't realise how much time effort and energy it takes. Also local businesses are closing down everywhere due to electricity bills, business rates and rents. Please value what we have here, and support a really friendly, caring pet shop right on our high street.”

Always feel welcome and a great selection of toys and treats for our pup. Not to mention a conveniently located groomer downstairs! Highly recommend! ☺️”

It's fantastic that the shop takes in rescued animals and offers them at very low pricing along with fantastic setups. “Recommend the fish here if your looking for simple little gold fish/ cold water fish. Of course can always have bad luck with fish so nothing guaranteed, but these have always been healthy and well cared for little guys, so a good bet if you have your pond or tanks set up to receive them!”

“Big store with located in a small shopping area with vehicle parking. They stock a wide variety of products catering to pets. Little animals and fishes are sold in the store. There's also a pet grooming service in store. The staff are friendly and helpful.”
