Pets at Home Friern Barnet

"I personally had a very bad experience with the vets here for my rabbit to get spayed. When I picked her up, she had an eye injury and they gave me medication “free of charge” to give her for 1 week twice a day. This has caused a lot of stress for me and my rabbit. A week later after she had healed from her surgery and the injury they have caused to her eye, I noticed a bump on her back (looked infected) but what I was most concerned about was HOW did that go unnoticed? And where did yet another injury appear? All I wanted was for my rabbit to get spayed. She went in to get spayed and came out with 2 injuries. I have changed my vets and never want anything to do with pets at home vets. This is my experience. Please do your research and go to proper knowledge skilled vets. Take your time and don’t rush!!! It really and trully isn’t worth it!"

"After popping into Pets at Home for five minutes at 10 am in the morning I received a £100 parking fine for my wheel being 30 cm over the parking bay lines. The car park was empty. No way to reward a loyal customer I will never use Pets at Home or the Friern Barnet Retail Park again."

"This was our first visit to Vets for Pets inside pets at home. Our old vets had 'temporarily closed' back in February so we were left seeking a new one. Our cat is 14 years old and is usually a little stressed by visiting the vets but the vet Shannon was absolutely brilliant. She put both us and Oreo at ease, aswell as explaining everything fully. She gave him a thorough examination, his yearly jab and a worming tablet all without him moving! It was such an excellent experience for Oreo aswell as us and we will certainly be returning. I just wish we had gone there 5 years ago when we first moved to London. Highly recommend. A++++"
